Review of College of Engineering and Technology, Bikaner.
Placements: Around 10-15% of the students get placed every year. Civil and mechanical engineering students do not get placements, only students of computer science engineering and electronics and communication engineering students get placement. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Only local companies approach students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully equipped with new machinery and instruments, and they all are in workable condition. The college also conducts classes and seminars on a digital board to get real imaging. Hostel facilities are so bad including mess food and room maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable except guest faculty members who teach most of the subjects. The course is relevant, and students get theoretical knowledge about the course offered. Students gain practical knowledge with internships. If students learn before one month of the exams, they can qualify.
Other: Civil engineering has more government jobs than any other branch in engineering, so I chose this branch.

I am dissatisfied with our college ground and playground.
Placements: There are less placements as only academically top 10 students of the branch get placements, and those have extra talent. About 15% of the students from our course got placed. I don't know the highest salary package offered, but the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Students of our course qualified in JEE Main exam. About 80% of the students got internships, but I do not know which companies offered internships. Our college offers courses like CE and CS, EE, EC, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good here, but the fee is high. In 1 room, 3 students are allotted, and if you are able to pay extra charges, you can stay in single and double sharing rooms. All facilities are good, and the rooms are clean. The water is clean and purified, and the canteen is available on the campus. Medical facilities are available outside the campus but near and quickly. The sports ground is very small, and 4 or 5 games are available. The ground needs to be improved.
Faculty: In our college, teachers are very helpful and behave like school teachers. They guide in every aspect and every time or help every time. They all are qualified form IITs and NITs, and they have very good knowledge. They teach us in a good way, and their teaching quality is the best. In our course, there are 2 semesters every year.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest and passion for it. The best thing about our course is the way they teach us is very easy and comfortable. It is the best course in our college. But campus ground, library and playground need to be improved.

I still miss my college life. The campus was good, and teachers were highly supportive.
Placements: Placements are good for other branches but not much good for the civil branch. As a civil engineer, you should focus on government jobs. You can choose M.Tech in civil engineering after graduation and can have endless possibilities to be a civil engineer. You can go for off-campus placements as well.
Infrastructure: The college provides proper infrastructure and facilities. The campus and canteen for students are good. Hostels have good facilities. There is proper management of buses to travel to college. The management of our college is good. You can see that during the fests and events which are held regularly.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very good and quite helpful. A few teachers are still in contact with us even after graduation. They were well qualified and took appropriate actions for the improvement of students. The quality of teaching was quite good.
Other: Events held on the campus are at a great level. Connectivity of students is amazing. Technical fests are held regularly. Hostels in college are good, and the time spent there can never be forgotten.

Good college and placements were good in 2014. But not much facilities.
Placements: Placements from my college are very good and my seniors are very serious about their placements. They work very hard for this and almost 15% student got good packages and its average is 3 to 4 LPA and maximum package is 6 LPA and the minimum is 2 LPA. Some got selected in government jobs.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are some facilities which are good. Sports complex, library and labs are good. There is Wi-Fi but it is only for the faculty. There is no canteen and the hostel is not up to the mark.
Faculty:
The teachers are very helpful. All the teachers have done M.Tech from NITs and IITs. They have good knowledge but the teaching pattern is not good. Student to teacher ratio is 40:1.
Other:
Events and sports are held here.
