Best faculty members and mentors.
Placements: Only thirty percent students were placed in the last session. The companies hire very few students every year. They take interviews before selections. Internships are also provided by these companies. Top recruiters are Capgemini, Concentrix and HCL. Mainly junior engineer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Labs, park, halls and auditoriums are well maintained. Hostel facilities are available at a reasonable price with all types of rooms including single, double sharing etc. Mess is hygienic along with a canteen being available in the campus. Sports and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive towards the students. All the faculty members are well trained and qualified. Their teaching methodology is good. Also, the mentors are very supportive and are always available to help. Exams are easy to pass. Passing percentage is around 60 percent.
Other: Scholarships are provided for girls.

My Life Lessons at College of Engineering Guindy.
Placements: For IT, CSE, nearly everyone will get placed and their average salary is around 12 LPA, with the highest salary being around 36 LPA. For ECE, EEE department core companies will also come, but the salary is not lesser than IT. Their average is around 8 LPA. For civil, mech, and manufacturing, core companies will come and the average is around 7 LPA. Rare departments like printing, mining, some companies will come, some will get placed, and some will do higher studies. Even though they don't get placement, Anna University brand name and life experience will help them grow.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good as private colleges. Ambience is good. Some classes don't have smart boards. Wi-Fi facilities are given only for laptops. Lab infrastructure is very good. Hostel facility is okay, but you have a very good life experience there.
Faculty: Some faculty members teach extraordinarily. Some faculty members don't have subject knowledge, but this helps us to improve more through self-learning. Without self-learning, you can't get good grades. The question paper is set by any one of the staff members who are handling the subject. Exams are somewhat medium to difficult level. Seniors will guide you more for placement, etc. Seniors also conduct special classes for students.
Other: I chose ECE because we can go for both IT and core jobs. Some department staff are not teaching well, and it is tougher if you don't follow self-study. There are many clubs, and it is mandatory to be a part of NSS/YRC/NSO. I am a part of NSS, which is a personality improvement course. You will be able to speak confidently and efficiently. Many clubs are also there. Each club has its significant events. CEG Teach Forum conducts Vyuhaa for freshers and Kurukshetra, an international-level tech event. SAAS CEG conducts AGNI in the odd semester and Techofes in the even semester. Those cultural events are the best part of your life.

Review of B.Tech in information technology at Anna University.
Placements: We have higher placement chances in both the core and non-core companies. Our alumni's got placed in various roles such as finance, IT, consultant and so on. And also, they honestly respect and support our start-up ideas patiently without any jealousy. They had given their fullest support.
Infrastructure: There are 400 computers present in our college laboratories. As programmers were appointed to monitor the computer laboratories, they additionally took care of students while doing programs. Also, technical assistants were appointed in order to monitor machines and equipment.
Faculty: During examinations, our teachers gave special attention to the students who scored below average marks and they arranged special coaching for them in their lacking subjects. Also, special rooms were allocated for the students who have medical issues like fever during exams.

A very good college for engineering.
Placements: My placement experience was positive, with numerous companies visiting our campus for recruitment every year. The average package in our course is 5 LPA, and last year, the highest package reached 14 LPA. Students are required to maintain a good CGPA for better placement opportunities. Doubt classes are conducted weekly, making the learning experience more effective. Attaining passing marks in exams is not overly challenging. Overall, the teachers are experienced and proficient.
Other: The campus is well-connected to the main road.
