Our college needs to improve its infrastructure.
Placements: Around 80-90% of the students got placed. Web Developing and UI and UX design companies visit our college. Almost 100% of the students got internships, mostly in journalism. Students get roles in all forms of journalism, TV production, cinema and web development. Directors like PS Mithran and Actor Amitash are alumni of the department.
Infrastructure: Our college has video studios, audio studios and editing labs with proper internet connections. Equipment is a major problem due to a lack of funding. The only problem is we don't have books for this course, so we need to get the information in the form of notes or access the library or the internet.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields and have real-time experience rather than teaching the theory. Papers are set in application-based questions. Papers are relevant and easy if the concept is understood.
Other: I have chosen this course to be on the video production side. The best thing about our course is the contacts we gain from here. Media is about references and contacts. Our college needs to improve on the infrastructure and the necessary equipment needed for the course.

It is one of the finest colleges.
Placements: The college has good and assured placements. Most of the recruiters who visit our college are well-performing and from the core companies. It is one of the best colleges in terms of placements. Our previous batch of students got placed in top MNCs and start-ups with a fair salary package.
Infrastructure: Anna University has one of the finest libraries around Chennai. It has all the books related to the subjects in the college. The food served in the canteen tastes good and has a reasonable price. The college has a separate health center for students. It has a vast ground for sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are recruited through proper exams and have fair experience in the field of teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and trying to be updated up to the level. The pass percentage is 50%, which is not so tough.
Other: The college has a very good social life and exposure.

Placements: 80 percent of students are admitted and all students will get internship. Students will become director, editor, cinematographer etc. Many multimedia companies are ready to take our students to enter the media industry. Students will also become sound engineers l, animators etc.
Infrastructure: Lab, Mac lab, studio, Wi-Fi everything is available in our department. Food, hostel facility everything is good when compared to other colleges and also they give equal pretences to cultural activities and as well as to sports. They are always helpful in fulfil the needs of our students.
Faculty: They are very helpful in building our future. The course is very relevant and it makes students ready for the industry. Staffs are very helpful in studies and always make their time free to help students and they always ready to clear the students doubt at any time.

A great college with an effective and efficient environment.
Placements: There was a special unit named Centre for University Industrial Collaboration (CUIC) which does an effective and efficient interaction on behalf of college with various industries. However, the placements have reduced in recent years, and it was the same with almost all engineering colleges throughout India. However, the placements were very good for some departments like computer science, information technology, MCA, EEE, medical physics, mechanical, and civil engineering. Other departments get fair placements depending on various companies that are visiting the college. Our college provides its best to encourage and enhance the placement facilities to the students.
Infrastructure: Our college had an incredible infrastructure, and it binds up with both technological and artistic aspects. The whole campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility via Wi-Fi-Tree, and it was easy and user-friendly. The library was also enabled with Wi-Fi facility, and it also had a great collection of study materials. Our college had amazing sports facilities, well-maintained grounds, and highly motivated teams.
Faculty: Various courses and various cultural activities were offered to enhance the interaction of students. Faculty members in our college were very friendly, helpful, and well-qualified. They help students by providing various platforms to enhance their capabilities. Teaching methods were improved and modified as per the requirements of today's education system. Student to faculty ratio was good, and it provides healthy interaction. Teachers were helpful, and they work hard to update the curriculum so as to improve the quality of education.
Other: Various events are organised by several groups and communities in our college. The connectivity among students is great, and our college has a healthy and fresh surroundings. The college environment is education-friendly.

Placements: Our college is the best place for campus placements.100% guarantee for campus placements. Many core companies and software companies also come for campus interview like amazon, flipkart, cts, tcs and also media companies. Anna university college students will get more preference than other college students.
Infrastructure: Overall best infrastructure for college students. Seperate laboratory also for all. Please learn with practical knowledge. Big ground also there for college students. You can asses Wi-Fi facilities in rcc center. Also 24 hrs health centre facilities also available in ceg.
Faculty: Lectures are well educated and well knowledgeable person. They teach both practical knowledge and theory knowledge. They also very punctual in time. They take class in interaction way so it will reach the students easily. They also give counselling for students who score low marks.
Other: Techofes function conducted every year. Also for Freshers students agni and freshers day will conduct for them. Also NCC, NSS, YRC, NSO all are available in college. Many clubs also present for student welfare.

College of Engineering Guindy - CEG Chennai.
Placements: Placements were good. But the companies are not core companies. They're from IT and few other platforms. We were looking for companies which are related to our department. The department needs to send the students for more industrial visits so they can get a lots of opportunities in core companies.
Infrastructure: CEG Campus is really very good with maximum available facilities. Infrastructures and facilities are good. But we had very less equipments for shooting documentary and other stuffs. Not all of us can get cameras frequently. There will be some shortage. Labs can be improved a lot with new equipments. And also there's a dedicated library available. Can get books related to media studies.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. There were some lack in our faculty members count. We used to gee guest faculty members who is working in industries like News editing channels, user experience designers, photographers, rj and from some other fields. Only few of them are experienced in media. Not all of the faculty members are really related to media. The department require lots of attention in faculty segment. Maybe some 35-40 years old faculty members who have experience in media related fields should come in.
Other: Lots of culturals will be there. Techofes and Agni are regular cultural programs. Kurukshetra is for a tech enthusiasts. Everyone will have their chances. If you've a talent you'll be recognised by the college for sure.
