Our college is good with knowledgeable faculty, and it makes students industry-ready.

Placements: Only 5% of the students from our course got an internship in General Electric Hyderabad. For M.Tech course, very less technical companies visit our college for placements. Gujarat GIFT visited our college and offered a salary package of 5 LPA. The salary package offered to the students was 6.2 LPA by Toyo Engineering. Mostly students got placement in software companies like Cognizant, TCS, etc. Top roles like advanced process control, modern control system, industrial automation, sensors and tra...

Best option for M.Tech in Maharashtra after IIT bombay, NIT Nagpur.

Placements: 30 % students were placed from a batch of 20 students with an average package of 5 lacs/ annum. Companies like Total environment, Tata consulting engineers, dar al handasah hired the students. Dar al handasah has its head office in Pune itself. And hence it often comes for placement in COEP campus. Though it hires 3 to 4 students max. The highest package for civil engineering is around 6.5 lacs per annum. The lowest package is around 3.5 to 4 lacs. Recently 8 students from a batch of 21 from str...

Placements: 60-70% of the students were placed. The salary was in the range of 5-7 Lacs. Philips offered an internship for a year and hired one intern from our batch. The process was too sorted, easy to understand, follow and appear for the various companies that approached the campus.

It is a great college with a legacy of above 150 years. You won't regret it if you opt for it.

Placements: The placements in our college are the best, and students who tried to get it got placed. The average salary package offered was 5-7 LPA for core branches like electrical, mechanical and civil. For computer science and information technology students, a company visited in a day. Only a few students didn't get placements from the M.Tech computer branch. From our M.Tech power electronics and machine, 14 students out of 20 got placed who were eligible for placements.

Absolutely satisfied with the college infrastructure, best placements and experienced faculty.

Placements: The placements for embedded control systems are the best. For the year 2017, almost all the students are placed (few students whose academic records are not up to the mark are unplaced). For the year 2018, 5 students are placed in Mercedes Benz R&D, One in Oracle, one in KPIT, one in Select Controls and few in bulk companies like TCS and Infosys. Few students also received internships from industries, the highest paid internship was by KPIT (25k per month).

Dissatisfied with the faculty. The placement is good because of the brand name of the college.

Placements: Almost, 40% of the students got placed, but most of them are not in the core domain. Three students got placed in TCS, 1 in parallel wireless, 1 in Infosys, and 1 in Renu electronics. Three students got the internship in Seagate HDD. The stipend offered during the internship is Rs. 30,000. There is a central placement cell in the college.

COEP - The best college in Maharashtra.

Placements: The placements for M.Tech is not as good as for B.tech students. The number of companies that come for the campus placements is not that good. Around, 60-70% of the students got placed. The average package for M.Tech is around 5 to 6 LPA. The students get the opportunities for the summer internships, out of which some companies even offer a good stipend.

The college is good for the laboratory access.

Placements: The placements are horrendous on the campus. No core biomedical engineering company came to the campus for the placements. Some core electronics companies and many IT companies came for the placement. No student in his right mind would like to work in an IT company or firm after masters in the core.

Placements: Honestly, as compared to Btech, placements for Mtech are less. For my batch, for digital system, almost 15 out of 18 got placed. Companies like Seagate and Wavelate, which are core companies, came for internships. Seagate, Daar group, TCS, Texas Instruments, Renu Electronics, and 3 more companies were there for placements.
