The life in college and friends.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is around 60 to 70 percent. The highest package was around 6.5 Lacs, and the lowest is 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Uno Mind and Escorts. Internship is around 50% from the course, and the companies are decided by the institute. Roles offered are many like internship cell and HR cell.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure and academic block are very huge, and there are numbers of labs and classrooms for the students to study in. The quality of food available in the mess is good. The medical facility on the campus is good as it is near our hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and supportive in nature. The teaching quality is also very good and excellent. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant for students. The semester exams are not so much tough, but in the first year, it will be tough for the freshers. The pass percentage is around 70 to 80 percent.
Other: I had chosen this course because I am interested in this course. The books may improve, and the course can also get improvement in it. There are numbers of events and fests, and they are enjoyable also.

Best college for studying veterinary.
Placements: By pursuing BVSc&AH, one can get a government job easily, in both state and central government. One can also opt for private jobs, for which 20% of placements are provided by the college. This college is the only one in Uttarakhand for veterinary studies, and generally, all my seniors have secured government jobs after completing their graduation. The highest salary package was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package, I have no idea. Companies related to medicine and nutrition generally place our students. One can become a class one officer as a Veterinary Officer (VO), a veterinary doctor in government hospitals, a professor, etc.
Infrastructure: A big lecture hall with all the facilities, like big screens for studies, proper blackboards, chairs and tables, and AC rooms. The college library is also available besides the university library, which has 100,000 books related to all fields. Wi-Fi is available 24/7 for all students. The hostel has Double-seated rooms with attached washrooms, and 24/7 light and water. Cleaning is proper, and all facilities are available in the hostel. The food has Four meals a day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks. The quality and quantity are very nice. We pay Rs. 40,000 once a year. Cleanliness in the mess area is appreciable. There is a garden area in the hostel with a badminton court and a field for evening and morning walks. The college has a big canteen offering all types of food at cheap prices, with good taste. The university also has a hospital accessible to all students for free. The university has its own stadium, covering a large area, where one can play any game of their interest. A gym is also available for free, separate for boys and girls, with all the equipment, open from Monday to Saturday. Conflux games are held once a year, along with inter-hostel games and state games, due to the large stadium.
Practical labs are provided with all the equipment, and lab helpers are available to assist us. The library is one of the biggest in India, containing 2,00,000 books, with seating for 300 students to study at a time.
Faculty: All teachers here are very helpful, interactive, and full of knowledge. They are UG, PG, and Ph.D. holders from BVSC & AH and are the brain of innovation. Their teaching quality is also highly appreciated by the students. They explain every topic, provide us with notes, and help us in solving questions. They assist students in labs, teach us, and make sure we learn the best things. The teaching quality is out of the world, as they have great experience in their subjects. This is a yearly course. There are 3 internal exams, each worth 10 marks. The best 2 are added to the result. Practical exams are conducted, 2 for each subject, each worth 20 marks. External exams have a weightage of 40 marks, with 20 marks for each exam. Pass percentage is 50%, and attendance should be more than 85%, otherwise, students will be detained. Exams are really tough, but passing marks are enough. A strict schedule is followed, providing great knowledge to students.
Other: I choose this course as it is a profession of love, if someone has an interest in treating animals or they love them and like to treat them, can choose this course. Best thing is they give us basic knowledge about everything including how to live life. How to treat animals as we as veterinarians have a responsibility to help them in every possible way. From. In childhood, my dream was to be a veterinarian so that I could help out every animal as we all are God's children. Our college is one of the top colleges for pursuing veterinary courses. Things I want to improve are that there is a very strict schedule for the students and we rarely get time for ourselves. Many events are organized by our college and university like band shows by famous bands, and night events of different colleges, all the festivals are celebrated regardless of any religious stigma. Fests are organised twice or thrice a year. There are approximately 400 students in UG course and 120 in PG course. Scholarships are also there, VCI scholarship Rs. 36000/year and EWS scholarship Rs. 20000/year. And various others are also there. There are various societies in the university like Chetna society, dance Society, Drama Society, placement society, Paint Society and many more.

It’s a good course and college for animal lovers.
Placements: No one stays jobless after competing a veterinary course. Almost everyone gets a field work after completion of degree starting their salaries at 50k, although the work is quite hectic. The students here don’t depend up on the college placements as they are not satisfactory. They prepare for JRF or government exams during their final year on their own.
Infrastructure: The faculty is old and experienced. The college building is quite old. Their teaching method is also very old but the practicals are good. The central Library is the best here. Extracurricular activities are also organised time to time. The hostel is average but the quality is not that good. We don’t have any choice in the breakfast (only aloo paratha daily).
Faculty: The faculty is experienced. The course duration is 5.5 years. Every year has 3 internal exams out of which 2 are compulsory to attend and 1 external exam is conducted along with practicals. Exam patterns are simple but the syllabus is quite lengthy as there is no semester system which makes it a little tough.
Other: This course is interesting if you love animals. Clinical practices should start from the initial years only.

A glimpse of College of Veterinary and Animal Science, GBPUAT, Pantnagar.
Placements: My batch was started in 2022. Our class consists of 101 students. The highest package goes above 1 lakh, the average package consists of around 70,000, and the lowest is around 10-30,000. This course is about 5 years, with 1 year of internship included. After completing the course, you can go for higher studies, open your own clinic, or do a government job.
Infrastructure: The college building is quite old. There are separate wings for each department and separate classrooms for each year of students. There are laboratories in each department, which are separate for UG and PG students. There are separate clinics at the college. There is a separate college library present on the college premises itself. The hostel food is quite decent, and the mess is clean. There are no canteen facilities available in any hostel, but a canteen is present in college. We are having various societies at the college and university level, and they keep on organising various sports and other cultural events throughout the year.
Faculty: All the faculties present here are highly educated and knowledgeable and have great experience in their respective fields. The course is of 5 years with 1 year of internship included. Each year has different subjects kept according to the level of understanding of students. The level of difficulty increases gradually in 5 years. Pass percentage is minimum 50% for all years.
Other: I always wanted to work in the medicine field, and I am very affectionate towards animals. The course is very interesting. There are various events organized by various societies present at the college and university level, which helps to increase the social skills of the students and develop confidence and leadership qualities in students. The campus is full of greenery and has a peaceful and harmonious environment.

GBPUAT PANTNAGAR REVIEW B. VASc.
Placements: The scenario of placement isn't available here. Students usually opt for MVSc or they opt for veterinary doctor in army wing. That's the current scenario. Students might also go for government exams but the placement is hardly present here and no such data related to placements are released.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is quite old but the university campus is really very beautiful with lush green canvas painted all over. The college has well-equipped labs and AC classrooms. University library is quite huge and beautiful with a great ambience having wide variety of books.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and experts in their fields although some might not be so good but that's the scenario everywhere. I can assure you that the university doesn't lag behind in academics anywhere. The course curriculum is as per ICAR and very relevant in current industry requirements. The semester exams aren't that tough and you get multiple chances to score a better GPA with 3 internal exams out of which the best 2 are selected, 2 finals and 2 lab finals each year.
Other: I always wanted to be a veterinarian so this course is my heart's desire. I would like to improve the farm visits and the tight schedule which is very tiring. Multiple events are held throughout the year by several colleges present in the university. Campus connectivity is very great and there's very much scope for carrying out all extracurriculars. Scholarships are provided to reserved caste students every year to fund their studies or for students who are financially weak.
