Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.

Other: The college has the best infrastructure among all in its competition. Though the distance is a problem for a lot of day scholars. The placements, grading faculty-all are beyond fantastic. The only problem is getting your work done from admin, but then I guess this admin problem is almost what every college whines about.
The environment is well suited for enjoying your social, extracurricular life along with the academics quite comfortably and all of this seriously helps a person grow. The various societies and fests help us grow in ways which help us be more comfortable while representing ourselves. In all it was a wonderful experience in this college.
