CVR college of engineering.

Placements: There are good placements for CSE and IT. But the placements are less in numbers for civil and mechanical. Only a few companies give package higher than 6 LPA, but the number of people they recruit is low. Some companies hire in bulk which provides the joining with date very late.

Review of CVR College of Engineering.

Placements: The placement record of the college has been good since it was established. The placements are improving rapidly because the college is approved as an autonomous institution. The placements offered in the software field increased, and mostly the roles are based on coding, programming languages, etc.

Review from an ex-student of CVR.

Placements: The placements are pretty good compared to other colleges in this tier of colleges. Placement procuring staff are very much supportive and are constantly setting up standards high for every academic year. However, internships are a little hard to get through the college.

Even though campus facilities are good, the faculty is not up to the mark in my stream and even the college infrastructure is not good. Placements are good they didn’t give any importance to particular stream as all are treated equally. I will not recommend this college for mechanical engineering branch.

The Education system for Control and instrumentation is very good. They have good equipment facilities like PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller), Lab view software etc. which most of the colleges does not offer. The faculty was very good and they always try to provide us good concepts. Campus and canteen are not bad. But now I heard it has improved a lot. Campus placement for the year we passed out is minimal. We hardly got placements. This is the only drawback for the college. However 2013, 201...

There are no placement offers in the core field.

Placements: Placements are available only for the CS department. Approximately 70% of students got placed only from the CSE department. TCS and Capgemini are recruiters here. None of the students got internships from our college, and every student got internships on their own from outside only. Construction manager and project manager roles are offered. I wish our college should increase the chances for placements in the core field in every branch.

The college facilities are good but the faculty and management is the worst.

Placements: No. Of students placed in core mechanical are 15 and software field are 50 out of 240. the highest salary was 6 Lacs for mechanical core companies and 12 Lacs for it companies. Top recruiting company for my course is l and t Top roles offered is senior engineer. The highest package in my course was 6 Lacs and the lowest package Was 2 Lacs The no. Students who got internships on their own are plenty but who got internship through college are around 50.

I am dissatisfied with teaching staff members, their experience and worst infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 120 students got placed in the course. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Accenture is the top recruiter. The manager is the top role offered to the students. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Nearly 60% of the students got an internship from our course in Wipro.

It is an average college for engineering.

Placements: In our college, placements were good as the college invites multinational companies and number of students get placed. But it provides pool campus drives but not campus drives. Campus drives are lesser than pool campus drives. Our college faculty members conduct training sessions regarding placements.
