D. Y. Patil Medical College in brief.

Placements: The college provides high class education. So it is easy to practise on ones own and even in private sector as well as government hospital and several seniors have done it too. Several students have pursued researches and demonstrations in various fields also.

A great faculty with very poor infrastructure.

Placements: Most of our seniors who passed out recently are still struggling to get post-graduation seats. While some started working for private hospitals for a sum of forty thousand rupees. Every student gets the opportunity to do an internship on our own campus and has a very good relationship with the patients who visit the outpatient department.

It is a good college but there are no stipends for internships.

Placements: You can apply for jobs after completing your medical practice. Traditionally, you do not get placement offers in this medical college. I would rate this college 3 stars. There is also no stipend for internships.

The college and hospital have good teachers and faculty

Placements: Medical colleges generally don’t provide on campus placements, the students have to do either work in hospital as residents or enter as post graduate students, for post graduation the MBBS student has to give a common entrance test called NEET now a days
