Worthiness of Investment in MBA/PGDM at DAV Institute of Management

After analyzing the reviews from current students and alumni, we've categorized the key points into strengths and weaknesses:

Strengths:

* Placement Cell: The college has a supportive placement cell with good connections, offering up to 6 LPAs with reputed companies like HDFC, SBI, Genpact, Wipro, Jio, and others. About 60% of students get placements, while the remaining 40% secure internships personally.
* Faculties: Teachers are highly supportive, cooperative, and knowledgeable in their subjects. They provide study materials, clear doubts, and are willing to help students.
* Curriculum Relevance: The course curriculum is considered relevant and makes students industry-ready.
* Internship Opportunities: Many students (around 80%) secure internships during their academic tenure, which helps build practical skills.

Weaknesses:

* Infrastructure: While the college has decent infrastructure, including air-conditioned rooms and labs, there's limited space, no Wi-Fi access, and outdated computers and air conditioners.
* Hostel Facility: Unfortunately, the college doesn't provide hostel facilities for students, making it inconvenient for outstation students.
* Sports and Recreation: Although there are plans to organize sports events, the college lacks a dedicated playground and recreational spaces.
* Limited Exposure: Some students feel that the college focuses more on profit-making rather than providing industry exposure and skills.

In conclusion, whether the MBA/PGDM programme at DAV Institute of Management is worth the investment depends on individual priorities. If you're looking for a strong placement record, supportive faculties, and relevant curriculum, this might be a suitable choice. However, consider factors like infrastructure limitations, lack of hostel facilities, and potential overemphasis on profit-making when making your decision. Weighing these pros and cons will help you determine if this institute aligns with your goals and expectations.

Best college in Faridabad with excellence in teaching and fees structure.
Placements: If we talk about placement in my college, it is good, and the average package offered in my college is about 8-12 LPA. About 60% of the students got internships. Companies like Flipkart, IBM, Wipro, and many more top companies' placements are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and the infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi are available in our college, and labs are well and good for practical experience. In our college, we have classrooms with projectors and also have a library. Our classrooms are fully air-conditioned with comfortable sitting benches.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and have excellent knowledge in their field. Their teaching quality is good. They also provide practical knowledge about the course and subjects. Semester exams conducted by our college are not much harder. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of the growth in the digital and AI future. This course helps me in achieving good knowledge and experience to get my future job. Our college also conducts events and fests every year. Scholarships are also provided by our college. Extracurricular activities are also held in our college.

I am satisfied with my college because there is no attendance problem in this college.
Placements: Around 50% of students are placed in our college. The highest salary package in our college offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.50 LPA. Lenskart and Tata Motors are only two companies that visit our college. Internship is provided to only 20% of students. Data research and development and accountant are some roles offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained and equipped with smart boards and projectors. Wi-Fi is not available to students. Library is well stocked with a vast collection of books. Labs are modern computer labs with latest software. There is no hostel in college.
Faculty: Teaching quality is really good. All teachers are well-educated and qualified. No college makes students industry-ready because no training is given to the students. Exams are not that difficult. Anyone can pass exams. Passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I have to complete my post-graduation and best thing about my college is that there is no minimum attendance percentage policy like other colleges. College has to improve its placement.

The faculty are good for teaching in this college, they are well trained and experienced.
Placements: 75% of the students were placed in my college. The highest package was 12 lacs per annum and the average package was 3 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Cisco, Tata, etc. 80% of students got internships in many companies, like Tata, etc. The college offered top roles for providing such services, like many clubs in our college that are coding clubs, dance clubs, sports clubs, techno clubs, etc. There was good teaching provided by faculty in our college so we gained more knowledge from this institution .
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well maintained and all the classrooms are smart rooms. Sport culture is very good in our college and the canteen is well maintained. Medical facilities are very good for health. In our college library, more than 1 lac books are available and 14 journals and labs are excellent for providing me such practical skills. There are many sports and games being playing in my college like cricket, badminton, carrom, chess, etc. The college is placed in a well-maintained sector and there are many transport options available for going to college .
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified for a Ph.D., their knowledge was very good and their teaching quality was excellent. There are 8 teachers in the BCA department. The difficulty of the semester exam was average in this college and 75% of students passed the exam. There were 2 semester exams given by the college in 1 year and our course was finished in 3 years. It makes the students industry-ready by giving me some knowledge like coding and communicating with each other to help me in this college .
Other: As we all know, there is a lot of scope in the information technology sector, as there are 8 faculty members available for 120 students. The eligibility for this course is that you must have a minimum of 45% in 10+2 in any stream. Yes, although the admission process is fair, during admission we have to pay a minimum of 70,000 to confirm admission but this couldn't be affordable to all so we wish to give time to the people to make the payment. The name of the annual fest at our college is Navrang. You can get many scholarships and national scholarships from the government and you can get a decent package from the campus for around 50,000 per month .

Dav institute of management.
Placements: Recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Sony, and Amazon. The highest salary package is 11 LPA, the lowest is 1.8 LPA, and the average is 2.5 LPA. About 30%- 45% of students get internships. If students are unable to get internships, the college provides them. The roles offered are data analyst and full -sack develops.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good as per the size of the college. WI-FI is available, but not accessible every time. We get free books from the library. I never eat food from the canteen. Medical facilities are available. I'm not familiar with sports, but they must be present.
Faculty: Some teachers are highly educated. We have subjects like Java, computer graphic, and data structure. MCA used to be a three-year programme, but it is now only two years long, with Two subjects combined into one. It is affiliated with MDU Rohtak, so exams are neither very difficult nor very easy.
Other: Only students who are working currently join this college. They can attend classes if they are interested. Otherwise, there are no issues.

Best college in our Faridabad.
Placements: It takes place through both merit-based and entrance exams, depending on the college. Students with 45-50% marks in class 12, having mathematics as a subject of study, are eligible to apply for the BCA course. The average package is 7 LPA. The companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and RBS.
Infrastructure: The college has no campus and no ground. The entire college is built upon the two floors of another college. This college attracts new students with facilities like AC, WI-FI, and machine learning labs. But really, the college doesn't have good books in the library.
Faculty: Teachers have no doubt, really help; they answer calls even on weekends. The course has almost all the subjects that are required to be job-ready, but the syllabus is not up to mark. Students need to get enrolled in external courses for industry-level expertise.
