Somewhat satisfied. No placements for Mechanical and Civil students.

Placements: In our college, the placement is only for IT, ECE and EEE branches. If there are any placements for mechanical or civil, that too would be in IT department. About 20-50% students get placed in MNC companies through our college. The highest salary I heard is rupees 28000 per month and the lowest is rupees 2,500 per month. Companies like Wipro, Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, IBM and other companies visited our college for placements. In our college, if students are interested they are free to go in a...

It is an awesome college with good faculty members. I secured 65000 rank in Eamcet and luckily got admission in Civil Engineering branch in this College. The college is located in the city and has very good transportation facilities, i.e., RTC BUS, sharing auto, etc. The faculty members of the civil department are highly experienced and student friendly. But some labs aren't equipped well for e.g.: the survey lab, they are still using a surveyor compass to train students in surveying, though the...

For minority students, engineering is almost free in Deccan. The government scholarship pay the fees and also provides stipend to the students. The campus is well organised with good infrastructure. Faculty is highly experienced and friendly. IT labs are well designed with modern technology. There is no chance of teasing towards the juniors. Highly secured campus. Placements are offered to the final year students. I will be graduating next year. I recommend this college to everyone.

My College is nice and is affiliated to OU. It is good, academically as well. Lecturers are helpful and provide guidance to students whenever required, they even help us in making our projects. However, recently not many companies have been coming to campus for placements. But still, I would definitely recommend this college to others.

The faculty is not up to the mark. The management of the college is not good. Labs are not bad. Civil and Mechanical branches have good faculty when compared to other branches. The fee structure is quite good. No placements for Civil and Mechanical branches. Sports aren’t encouraged.

IT Bombay is the best college for engineering. Particularly, its Electrical Engineering and Computer Sc. depts. are among the best in the country. There are lots of activities for overall personality development. I study CS and we have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to choose among interdisciplinary subjects. Its huge 550 acres of green campus provides an awesome range of facilities & infrastructure for sports & fitness for a m...

It’s a perfect college, in terms of studies, but lacks social activities and extracurricular activities, esp. sports. It has a good faculty but new hires are always unreliable. It is safe and recommended for girls too. It has a good infrastructure but it is old now. It has now entered into go karting championship.

Perhaps, for girls who prefer a reserved environment it is a very good college, whereas for boys, who wish to gain something more than just education, it isn’t. No extracurricular activities, no sports, no encouragement for technical events stuff, and list goes on. So, if you are a book worn and you want a college just for studying (nothing else), then this might be it. My suggestion would be try for other colleges within the city first (MJ specifically). Still lot more to say from my experience...

The only reason one should join DCET is because it is affiliated to Osmania University which is the best University in South India (as per NAAC). The college infrastructure is poor, no canteen facility, faculty in general are good, but the placement cell is nonfunctional. It used to be an esteemed institution, not anymore.

I'm somewhat dissatisfied because there is no Wi-Fi available in classrooms.

Placements: Only a few companies visit our branch, whereas in CSE, many companies like Zeetak, Amazon, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and IBM visit to hire them.

Very satisfied by the teaching skills.

Placements: We've a lot of recruiters reaching our college for placements. And there's a lot of students who are above average. We've placements from many companies like Tata, Mahindra, Toyota etc. They hire the students who are perfect in that field and has knowledge about the electronics.

Satisfied because of the faculty, good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Students with above 65% were placed in our course. The highest package offered was 8 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package offered was 3-4 Lacs per annum. Many popular companies recruited students in our course. Some of them got internships from our course, 75-90%. I don't know much about the roles offered.

This is a good college for becoming an engineer.

Placements: Around 70% of students were placed. The highest salary pacakge offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary pacakge offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting company was Wipro. Around 70% of students got internships. The role offered was as a manager. I would recommend this for sure without any hesitation, specifically for the students of Hyderabad. They will be enjoying it a lot, and it was located in the heart of the city at Nampally, Darussalam, Hyderabad...

I am not satisfied by college because of no sports and games and average teachings.

Placements: My college has no placement, my college has 0% placements. Only some internships has been offered by my college, for more one has to do privately outside the college premises. As there is no placements no company recruiter for any type of course, so there is no package offered.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure, faculty is good, there are placements.

Placements: 120 students are placed in our course. 25000 is the minimum, 40000 average, 60000 is the highest package offered in our course. IBM, MICROSOFT, TATA, INFOSYS are the top recruiters. 13 percent students got internship from our college in SMART INFRASTRUCTURE, GHMC. Structural analysis.

Good college with the worst limitaions.

Placements: As far as placements are concern, there is no such thing in this college, mostly one or two companies will approach and might select mostly 20-30 among all 120 with a low annual package. The placement section of college is to be improved and more companies should be invited.

Placements: It Has Many placements In Many Courses Except Civil Branch. Many Companies use to come here and Have an Interview Every Year. There Are 80% placements for The Students of Final Year. They Use To Conduct the Interview and if Students Qualify the Interviews, They Get Good Job With Good Salaries.

Most satisfied because of well experienced faculty.

Placements: Many placements for mechanical and all other branches. There is a placement department officer which takes the details of the final year student and gives the information to the recruiting companies. There are many graduates who are looking for jobs our college provide such students who studied in our college with a better placement.

Overall it's been a good experience, only short coming is placements.

Placements: Sadly there is placement in Deccan college of engineering, earlier placement was there but as of now there are no placements. The placement cell is there but it is completely useless. The environment is quite restricted. I repeat there is no placements.
