Integrated M.Sc. in Biology - Batch of 2022

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: We were a batch of 9 people in biology. Out of us, 3 were able to find fully funded research positions, and they all got it outside India. These depend on the position one is looking for. If Ph.D. is not the choice, then one can opt for working as a research assistant at renowned labs across the globe. The internship is a part of the 9th semester out of 10 semesters. We got chances across the globe for exploring interning positions and were also able to get through renowned research institutes in India as well.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, the new hostel building (Takshashila), labs, and classrooms are all well-equipped, and rooms are well kept with a contractual housekeeping service to take care of cleanliness. The rooms are on sharing, and therefore, hostels are fun. Even official premises are well kept and perhaps classes may start as soon as possible in those rather than in prefabricated units constructed way before.
Faculty: The teaching quality is above average but depends on the faculty, whether a renowned professor or a visiting faculty. All the courses are relevant and important and make students ready for research all by themselves. Up until the 6th semester, things are pretty manageable, but after 7th, things are ought to hasten which also equips further in the inculcation of good research practices.
Other: Biology is something that interests me a lot, and the course work and lab work gave parallel to theory making everything easier to understand and keep up with current research topics. The courses can be continuous and well structured by some faculty to give a wholesome experience about newer courses but overall good. Events are mostly handled by students, but the crowd is less, so events are usually not as grand. They are enjoyable. Therefore, more engaging as the participation is not limited. The campus is within the university, therefore some sports events are a good because CBS participates.

Best and supportive faculty.
Placements: 92% of the total students were placed in my Ph.D. The highest package offered was 38 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 4 LPA. Many top companies recruit students from JBIMS, University of Mumbai. The recruiting companies are IBM, Cisco, and many top IT companies. 85% of the students have internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. More facilities are provided for our convenience. We have proper 24x7 free Wi-Fi in the hostel, and classrooms are cleaned every day. Hostels are kept clean, and labs have all the necessary equipment. The campus hostel mess food is excellent, offering many special food options during festivals. Sports are given a certain importance.
Faculty: Our teachers are the best. Yes, the teachers are very knowledgeable and treat the students very carefully. Exams are easy because of the faculty; almost all the questions are covered in the internals, making semester exams hard to fail. We are very thankful to our teachers. They prepare us for facing industry problems.
