The college is in the growth phase and needs at least 10 years to be even considered as decent.
Placements: The students join a particular institute intending to get better placements and salary. This college didn't hit the mark. On interacting with the senior students, the placement for them was quite disappointing. One thing that I fail to understand is the idea of clubbing sales and marketing into one category. Most of the marketing jobs were sales. As for finance, the least said the better. Not a single decent placement for any student. The HR was one of the worst affected in the placement. As far as the average salary offered was 3-4 lacs per annum for the marketing and 2-3 lacs per annum for the finance. Out of the batch of 50 odd, only 12 got placed through the college. The companies offered sales job to finance students. Overall it was quite a letdown.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was one of the strong points of the college. The college has a good connected Wi-Fi facility albeit only for the laptop. The classrooms could have provided with a good projector facilities. The IT labs had some great state of the art facility. The library also boasts of some common books. The canteen food was a big let down. Not many varieties. No hostel facilities.
Faculty: MMS curriculum is a bit outdated, to be frank. There is a huge gap between what skills the companies expect from their prospective employees and what the college teaches. The faculty members were knowledgeable enough, but they were constrained by wanting to teach the curriculum. Apart from that, they were approachable to clear any doubts and queries. Some subjects required to go out of the purview of the syllabus and that's where the true test lies. The professors used to group activities and case studies to solve the problem. Real life case studies were solved using different techniques like brainstorming. Industry exposure was quite limited.

Other: The college has a good infrastructure and facilities. The staff and teachers also have a good knowledge about the subject and experience in the industry But there are some extra curricular activity which make you very busy and might not be of your interest.

Other: The college can be better managed with sincerity and dedication. My UG life wasn't as it was supposed to be. But a learning experience all through the 3years. The management can make the college one of the best places as faculty and campus facilities are great.

About DBIMR: Pros: 1. Have the best faculties in HR, who have years of industry experience. 2. The highest package for HR for this year is 4.2 lacs. Cons: Few students in HR are yet to be placed.

Bleak chances for MMS. But you can apply for PGDM AIMA if you haven't applied for core PGDM.

Hi Pooja, The percentile appears to be a bit less and the chances of your admission in DBIMR are also vague, still, you can give it a try by following the cap rounds properly and by applying for the institutional level seats.
