Yea definitely say students that this college will provide all facilities with good opportunities.
Placements: 50% of students placed, the highest is 8 LPA and 2.8 LPA is the lowest. Top companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Johnson & Control, etc. 90% got internships. The top roles are software engineering roles and BDA roles. They provide many offers for placements. I have utilized this opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, they provide a variety of foods and they provide all facilities. The curriculum is designed to align with industry standards, offering programs in fields such as AIML and Computer Science. This alignment is further supported by industry collaborations.
Faculty: It is recognized for its qualified and knowledgeable faculty. Students note that teachers are well-versed in their subjects and employ effective teaching methods, including the use of modern technology and practical examples. Semester exams at DBIT are structured to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The overall pass percentage ranges from 80% to 90%.
Other: Because I need to get into the software field, I have chosen Information Science and Engineering. Should increase practical sessions rather than theory. Yes, they conducted numerous seminars, fests, etc.

Review of Don Bosco Institute Of Technology, Bangalore.
Placements: The placements done in this college are rarely 10% for mechanical, and as per my knowledge in other departments, its around 50 to 60%; the highest package was 12 LPA, the average was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Tech Mahindra and CMRIT, as well as Infosys, were the top recruiters for the year 2022 in our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities given to men are quite good but not up to mark on the facilities provided, and it is good for an amount of 1 lacs, but 1.5 lacs was a bit to much to my knowledge, and from my friends opinion, I can say that even the girls hostels are very good in their cleanliness and other facilities provided than the boys hostels.
Faculty: During exams, the committee responsible for checking students and guiding students into the right examination hall and others are very helpful with all the help we need during the examination, such as notes, question papers, and other study materials, and they do help us in our revision of the topics we are confused about, and the curriculum is very much up to date and is going to be a university in the further days to come.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, no good placement in 2023
Placements: In my batch 8 members placed for core company it was new start up , 3 members got placed in it sector companies, there was no top company came for recruitment no one got placement the highest package was 4.5LPA and lowest is 2.8lpa no top roles offered in our course
Infrastructure: Our college facilities fas nice but labs in labs all old equipments we wer not getting proper results wile executing experiment, class room wer good , library was still to be updated and wifi was available only in library , sports and games wer very nice
Faculty: Some teachers wer less qualified and less knowledge they have teaching quality was less due to this I have faced very difficult in exams in every semester 60% percent students we fail in exam again we wer studying by our own and writing exam less qualified and teaching quality
Other: Our batch was very nice my batch students wer very helpful in exams in teaching my sister advice me to take this course, our college campus was very nice fest and events or also ok scholarship wer taken by college for fess it was good in college

My View on DBIT as a student.
Placements: There are more than 200 students in our branch CSE 2026. The highest salary package bagged by an AI/ML student is 30 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Internship opportunities and on-campus placements are quite less.
Infrastructure: College facilities are pretty good. Library, cafeteria, canteen, hostel, and sports room are all well-maintained. Library is good and useful to students and I love it. I would rate it 4/5 because there is no auditorium in college and most of the activities are conducted in seminar halls so an auditorium can be built.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified and have very good knowledge about subjects. Exams are held in a good way and the college is under VTU University. Curriculum is followed according to the university itself and it does help students with real-world industry understanding.

    The infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Almost 70% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies are Johnson Control, IBM, Capgemini, etc. Roles offered are developer, data analyst, etc. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA by Johnson Control. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Around 80-90% of students get internships from our college.
Infrastructure: Our college is accredited with NAAC A. Our department has a well-equipped laboratory. Our classrooms are also good. We have E-resources in the library. They have collaborated with many online course platforms like Coursera, NPTEl, etc. The food quality in the canteen and cafeteria is good. We have 24/7 Wi-Fi on campus. There are medical facilities. They encourage us in sports. We have NSS, NCC, etc.
Faculty: Almost 80% of teachers are Ph.D. holders. They are well-experienced and solve our doubts in a simple manner. Teachers are very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good. Our teachers teach the latest technology which makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are easy if they clear in the first attempt or else it would be difficult to clear in further upcoming exams. The passing percentage is above 85% as per the latest data.
Other: I chose an information science and engineering course which is similar to computer science and engineering but differs in some subjects. In our college, our department teachers are very friendly with students. In our course, we learn about the latest technology. They teach about the latest technology. In our college, they organize fests called Vismay and many more. The campus crowd is less compared to other colleges. The campus Surroundings are also quite good. We get scholarships from the government of Karnataka called SSP. They organize cultural events also.

Great non-tech placements, great place for sports, and have to struggle for developed placements.
Placements: Out of 400, 90 students were placed most in non-technical. The highest package this year was 11 LPA on campus and 30 LPA off campus, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Emphasis, Tech Mahindra, etc. are the top recruiters. Only less than a percent got internships. Non-tech roles are offered more in comparison to tech roles .
Infrastructure: There is a well-occupied library. The hostel is very costly; it's 1.5 lakh per year. You get non-veg once a week. The sports facility is excellent; it is a very good college to improve if interested in sports. College has represented at university level a lot of times .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. But keep leaving the college for a better salary. Attendance is not serious enough so it's mostly on the students to study. It does make students industry-ready. The exams are moderately tough .
Other: I chose this course pertaining to my KCET rank. The worst thing is that although we are at a much higher rank than other branches, we get placements very similar to them. The fests are okay, but not that fun. We get SSP scholarships for people from OBC.
