I am satisfied with the college because of its faculty, infrastructure, and good placements.
Placements: Our college had 60% placements last year. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are Just Pay, AG Software, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. Very few students got internships this year. The top role offered is an IT engineer.
Infrastructure: Labs are pretty neat with good computers and Wi-Fi. Faculty members in hostels are very good. The mess is pretty decent with vegetarian and non-vegetarian on different days. Our college has a really big cricket ground where a lot of events are done.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful when it comes to teaching. They have a lot of knowledge and help students a lot. This course helps us build projects but most of the time you have to do online courses to get industry-ready. Semester-end exams are pretty challenging. The evaluation is done thoroughly. However, the passing percentage is pretty decent. Faculty members in our course are very experienced.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for technology and engineering. The best thing about this course is the current demand for this course. Teachers should start teaching projects and make us industry-ready.

One thing good about the college is the attendance, just maintain 70% that's enough.
Placements: Students get placed in our college, but it's always mass hiring. The good ones you will see on the college website. They will be mostly off-campus. Earlier good companies used to recruit from our college, but I don't see them now because of students' performance. Students are taking it slightly after Covid-19.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite well. We have Wi-Fi on our campus. There is a pretty good library with the availability of computers and the internet. We have a xerox shop, a canteen, a sports room, and a gym in the college. Even though I am a day scholar, I can bet that the infrastructure of hostels is nice. We have a big cricket ground, basketball court, kabaddi or volleyball, and a kho-kho ground.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and engaging if you know Kannada, otherwise gets a bit difficult to communicate. But don't worry in the 1st year, you can learn Kannada with your friends. We have good courses and the curriculum is according to them. We have a Samsung Innovation Campus as well to help and prepare students and make them industry-ready.

Great non-tech placements, great place for sports, and have to struggle for developed placements.
Placements: Out of 400, 90 students were placed most in non-technical. The highest package this year was 11 LPA on campus and 30 LPA off campus, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Emphasis, Tech Mahindra, etc. are the top recruiters. Only less than a percent got internships. Non-tech roles are offered more in comparison to tech roles .
Infrastructure: There is a well-occupied library. The hostel is very costly; it's 1.5 lakh per year. You get non-veg once a week. The sports facility is excellent; it is a very good college to improve if interested in sports. College has represented at university level a lot of times .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. But keep leaving the college for a better salary. Attendance is not serious enough so it's mostly on the students to study. It does make students industry-ready. The exams are moderately tough .
Other: I chose this course pertaining to my KCET rank. The worst thing is that although we are at a much higher rank than other branches, we get placements very similar to them. The fests are okay, but not that fun. We get SSP scholarships for people from OBC.

I am pretty satisfied with the campus, but the faculty is mediocre. Placements are getting better.
Placements: Around 80 percent were placed from my course. The highest package was 30 LPA, and the average package offered is 4 LPA. Around 50 percent got internships in companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. There are more mass recruiters, but there are some companies like Jason Control which offer good packages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available, and classrooms have mediocre infrastructure. We have a vast library. Food is good but not great. We have a cafeteria that sells affordable food. First aid is available. We have a basketball court, kabaddi, volleyball, kho-kho, and a cricket ground.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good and qualified. Mediocre teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and helps us in getting placed and makes students partially ready. Semester exams are pretty tough, but somehow teachers will take you above the line. At the end of the day, it's all you.
Other: I chose it because it has very good value, and the best things about the course are the topics we learn. More of a practical and application-based approach would improve the course. There is a major event named Vismay, and the crowd is pretty good. Good surroundings and excellent extracurricular activities.

My View on DBIT as a student.
Placements: There are more than 200 students in our branch CSE 2026. The highest salary package bagged by an AI/ML student is 30 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Internship opportunities and on-campus placements are quite less.
Infrastructure: College facilities are pretty good. Library, cafeteria, canteen, hostel, and sports room are all well-maintained. Library is good and useful to students and I love it. I would rate it 4/5 because there is no auditorium in college and most of the activities are conducted in seminar halls so an auditorium can be built.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified and have very good knowledge about subjects. Exams are held in a good way and the college is under VTU University. Curriculum is followed according to the university itself and it does help students with real-world industry understanding.
