Dissatisfied with the curriculum as it was not updated with time.

Placements: Placements in my batch were approximately 60%. The highest salary package offered was 4.20 LPA, the lowest was 1.80 LPA whereas the average salary was around 2.60 LPA. The companies visiting our campus are Infosys, NIIT, EXL Services, Capital Via, Emicon, Airtel, Sofcon, etc. Almost every student gets an internship from the college, but the stipend offered varies from Rs. 1,000 to 5,000 per month. The college has a dedicated placement cell through which students can make their future.

Our college has an interesting infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are fine for IT students and satisfactory for other branch students. Salary packages offered by companies are not up to the mark. Companies like Infosys, which is a mass recruiter of this college, usually hire 100-120 students every year.

Faculty and curriculum are good, but the infrastructure isn't up to the mark.

Placements: Placements in our college are not in the way I expected during my admission. The college focuses only on software companies which provide placements to CSE and IT students. Non-technical companies do not come to conduct placements in this college. Placements are really disappointing.

The infrastructure is good, and placements are average.

Placements: Placements are good for the students of the CS and IT departments, and they are average for the rest of the branches. Only a few core companies visit the campus when compared to the software companies, and this is the main drawback. One student in every four students gets placed.

I will say it is a fair college for engineering.

Placements: The placement cell of NIEC is working hard to get good placements for students. There are fair placements in EEE department and CS departments, approximate salary is 3.5 Lacs p. a. The Civil placements are Nil in this college. This year Infosys has provided jobs to students on average package of 3.5 Lacs p. a.

In my views I think take this college if you have no options.

Placements: The placement is low as compared to other colleges. Most of our seniors are not placed in good packages. The highest package is around 5 Lacs. And if you work hard you get more. Many companies come for placement like Tech Mahindra, Indiamart, Vivo, NestAway. The college does not offer any internship in any company, but it offers training in college after the completion of the 2nd year. Only 20% of the students get the campus placements. The placements depend upon the branch we select. Most of th...

The college you should go to if you don't have any other option.

Placements: The placements for my batch and that of my seniors went seemingly well. The major recruiter was Infosys, which offered a standard package of 3-4L. There were several small tired IT companies as well, along with firms like Byju's, smartprix etc. One of the big companies that came for placement would be Amazon, which ended up hiring less than 10 people. The average package ranged from 3L - 9L.

Dissatisfied in terms of placements and teaching quality. It is good at infrastructure.

Placements: In my batch, only 1 student is placed in Infosys while 3-4 students got placements on their own. Placements in mechanical and automation are nearly null. The highest package is only 2.2-2.4 lacs per annum. The average package is Rs. 10,000-Rs. 12,000/month, if you are lucky enough to get placed. Companies like Arab oil, audit (only in sales at 2.4 lakh/annum) and infosys which is out of the stream visit the college for the placements.

My experience of N. I. E. C.

Placements: Only 25% students of B.Tech course student are able to get placed. The average package is 2.25L and maximum was given by byjus i.e. 9L. Minimum is1.5L. Mass recruiter of my college is INFOSYS. Overall placement of my college is below average according to the market.

If there is no other option, then only go for it.

Placements: Placement is low in mechanical core fields and civil as well. But, it is okay when it comes to the IT companies and related to IT field branches. The other training facilities provided by the college are quite good, and it works for the soft skill improvement of the person.

Good infrastructure, students are not free to do what they want, and it lacks in the facilities.

Placements: This year, the placements seemed to be good. Byju's gave a placement of about 9 lacs per annum to several students. About 80% of the students are placed with a satisfactory job. More than 90% of the students got internships from the college. The highest package was about 15 lacs per annum.

Locality around the campus is not that good.

Placements: If you have more than 70% marks in 10th, 12th and BCA, then you have more chances to get placed. The companies like Infosys, Infotech, Supra come every year for the placement drives. You just need to have a good aptitude and programming knowledge. The programming language like Java is preferable in this college. Placement drive for the bachelor of technology in CS-IT, MBA held together.

The review of Northern India Engineering School.

Placements: The placements in our college are not that good. Around, 30% of the students got placed. The highest package went up to 9 LPA whereas the lowest package was like 2 LPA. The companies like Mahindra, Infosys, etc., are the main recruiters. The students were offered the roles according to their fields of work whereas some were also given jobs for the marketing. No internships are provided through the college, but one can apply for the same, where the students grabbed internships up to Rs. 15,000 to...

Mediocre placements, Good infra, bad locality.

Placements: Placements are somewhat mediocre. Companies have started to come but the salaries are quite low for some cases. The highest packages went around 9 LPA, without the lowest going to 2LPA as well. The seniors did get internships from various companies but most of them were not placed anywhere.

Overall, I'll rate this college 6/10 because of the poor placements.

Placements: The placements for my batch was not good. Hardly 3-4 companies came directly for placements and rest came through the 3rd party exams like MCAT, elitmus, cocubes, etc. Also, the companies which visited the campus didn't offered a good package. This was the scenario for the batch of 2013-17. The placements were better for previous batch.

The average college which makes sure to ruin your dreams.

Placements: Placements at my college from past few years have been very bad, not much core companies have come for placements in every branch. For my branch too even the all the mass recruiters didn't visit our college. Even the on campus placements didn't gave us much of a package even for a start.

Dissatisfied because of the placements.

Placements: For CS and IT branches, the placements were average, and for other branches, there were almost zero placements. A fake placement was also arranged on the name of Motherson Sumi Ltd., as after clearing written test and PI round in the college, went to the company for the final round where it was being told that they have never come to that college for recruitment. HR person of the college was useless.

I can't give any specific title, but I am not satisfied with the college's current scenario.

Placements: Northern India engineering college has very poor placements. Only about 10-20% of the students got placed this year, which is a very bad track record. Only IT companies are mainly coming to the college and offering job with very less package to the students. It was disappointing for the students like me. The students are terrified that what will happen if this scenario continues.

The college is not good if you are looking for placement.

Placements: It is not good for core branches since they only call IT or CS companies. Everyone ended up getting his field changed from core to it or CS. The studies are good, but the placement system is not that much good, to be honest. If the placement is your main concern, you should drop the idea for being in this college.

Dissatisfied with the official behaviour of staff and training provided by them.

Placements: The college has no placements. It's the worst college in terms of training and placement. They took the extra industrial fee for training and workshops but provide us sponsored training which doesn't worth the money what we pay.
