Dissatisfied with the placements, faculty and the old apparatus in the labs.

Placements: Zero core companies visit the college. The only company is the Infosys which recruit only CS and IT students. No core companies for the civil and mechanical as well. Many sales companies recruit engineers with low packages. CS and IT students may get the placement depending upon their calibre.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the rule of not able to play in the grounds before 3.

Placements: I have very little idea about the placements, but the packages for mechanical automation engineering are pretty below average as compared to other branches. Mainly Infosys is the most active company in our college. They pick students from almost every branch.

I'm pretty much satisfied with my college. Afterall, I have fantastic memories here.

Placements: The placement is very average in this college, only 20-30% students are placed. The highest package is 3LPA provided by Infosys and I don't know the lowest. I'm from EEE department, so as far as I know, there are only 4-5 companies that visit for EEE department, and all they selected is for the salesman roles. There is no internship provided by the college, and all you have is your connections and references if you want to do an internship.

NIEC is a fraud, don't take the admission.

Placements: Only BPOs come for the placement, and Infosys comes with the pool campus. The core companies like Don2019t visit the college and provide the good packages. The average package is Rs. 18,000 per month and the highest is Rs. 25,000 per month, which is given by the Infosys only. If you just want to time pass, then only take the admission in this college.

Teachers and facilities provided to the students will nourish you to be a little above average.

Placements: The placements in Northern Indian Engineering college is still not up to the mark. The training and placement cell needs to work more on this issue. But the positive changes are coming with the arrival of companies such as BYJUS and Samsung. BYJUS is offering a package of 9 lakh per annum to the 17 students from this college. While that of Samsung is not known yet. The internship is a confusing and hard thing because college does not help much with it. You have to struggle on your own to get a n...

Disappointed with the placement, dangerous surrounding of college and good infrastructure.

Placements: Most of the companies visited the campus but didn't offer the technical jobs. Amazon hired a number of students for customer support more like a call centre at night. The best placement opportunity was Infosys, unfortunately, only 120 students passed the aptitude test out of 800 students. It happens because the students lack guidance.

Something is better than nothing. Get into this if you didn't get anything else. Better than MDU.

Placements: The placements at NIEC are not good. During my batch, only 4-5 companies visited the campus, none of them offering jobs in the core sector as I am an electrical & electronics student. All the companies offered IT, software and coding based jobs. The hiring ratio was also not good, with all companies hiring around 4-5 students inclusive of all branches. There is only one mass recruiter, Infosys, which comes as a saviour for the college and the only hope for the students. So, it is either Infosys ...

This college is good for the degree takers.

Placements: The placements are not that good, but the average package offered is Rs. 4 lakhs and the minimum package offered is Rs. 1.2 lakhs. Last year, 3 to 4 percent of the student got placed. Nearly, only some basic company that visit the most colleges have visited this college as well. No internship is provided to boost our career. But if you want your degree only, then this is the best college. There is no such support and knowledge provided for better studies.

Average college when it comes to mechanical and automation engineering. Don't expect the placements.

Placements: I got placed along with 2-3 of my classmates. Don't expect much of the placements when you belong from the mechanical and automation branch. The mechanical has the least placement in this college. Might be because TPO is not having a connection with the mechanical companies.

The college ranks an average with the friendly faculty members.

Placements: In the campus, the placements are average to rely on, but many of my seniors got placed in more than average companies, but all of them were off-campus placements. The average salary acquired in the campus placements are 3-4 LPA. The companies like Infosys and Wipro are the mass recruiter as vacancies for the software developer. The maximum placements are for CSE and IT branch. The same is the condition for on-campus internships.

Good infrastructure faculty and facilities.

Placements: Infosys and many big companies came to the campus, and about 40-50% of the students got selected in my batch. The average salary offered is around 3.6 LPA. The technical developer roles are given to the students. The college provides no internship. The college TPO also provides extra links for placement.

NIEC is a Mediocre college, so don't expect good.

Placements: The placements are average, as many students go out of the college, while some students even get PPO by working on their own. Infosys is single handed takes most of the students, which are being placed. Many 2nd year students, including me, have joined open source organisations, such as Mozilla, and it helps some students to get off-campus placement as on-campus placement is very difficult due to the reason specified above.

This is the review about my college Northern India Engineering College located in Shastri Park.

Placements: The placements are not at all good. They put ads of big companies on the college campus, but small companies come for offering BPO jobs to engineering students. If the student has done a lot in the 4 years, then he might get placed in Infosys with the 25k salary. You need to search for the jobs outside the campus. I recommend doing way too many internships and learning as much as you can.

Growing college and university that sums up NIEC and GGSIPU. Create opportunity, and be at the top.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark in NIEC campus. In 2016, Amazon, Yamaha, Airtel visited the campus. The main recruiter is Infosys, if you have 67% and above and know basic c, c++ you have 75% chance to be selected in Infosys. Last year 3-4 core mechanical companies also visited campus, which is good news if you are planning to take admission in core branch. Indian army also visits campus for the placement of technical entry in the army. Last year, 2 students were shortlisted for SSB. The a...

NIEC placement, infrastructure and sports conditions. The only truth that its students can reveal.

Placements: The placements in this college are zero percent. All the companies hoardings are fake. According to the information given in the college, Google is the main recruiter on the campus, but actually, it's fake. No companies linked to the placements with this institution. No companies are ready to connect with NIEC. Actually, the TPO is not interested in linking the companies with the institution for placement.

A long way from becoming an ideal institute.

Placements: The placements are below average and not more than 50% of the batch is placed. It has improved a little with some mass recruiters like Infosys visiting the campus but only a very few students get good roles. Most of the others go for support functions of IT companies. The average package is around 3-3.5 LPA.

The college is good for those who give the 100% from day one.

Placements: The placements here needs to be improved. Only one company which take mass recruitment is Infosys. Except that no big name is there in the list of the company. You can get placement from here, but you have to be very active from day one, but still, the jobs will not give justice to the efforts you make.

The hidden truth of colleges in Delhi

Placements: The placements were only dependent on Infosys as the only MNC and mass recruiter for the campus drive. The TPO and other college admins didn't allow and didn't manage to call any other companies. Other than Infosys, a few startups came which selected students but failed to provide the call letter to them. Also, pool campus placements didn't happen as the college didn't coordinate with the university. Overall, placements were only dependent on Infosys.

Worthless college. Placements, internships and faculty are poor. The infrastructure is really good

Placements: Placements of the electrical and electronics department are the worst. About less than 15% students were placed. Placed students didn't receive their call letter yet. 2016-2017 placements are worse than before, less than 20% but they always show fake data about it, in their websites, Facebook pages and social networking sites. The lowest package is about 1.2 lakhs per annum.

NIEC review by alumni of 2015.

Placements: The college is good for placements. At my time, many large MNCs visited like Infosys, TCS, CSC, Convergys and Aricent. More than 60% students were placed. Roles varied from system engineer to technical support executive. More than 250 students were hired by Infosys alone.
