It's good for me and I felt good studying here.

Placements: In my batch, the placements were quite good as we got some mass requiting companies. Every year, most of the people will get selected in TCS, Tech Mahindra and few other companies. It depends on the year of placements as in some years we get some companies and in some other years, we don't get. It also depends on the company and the time given by the college people.

A college which is on the upward move.

Placements: In the college, there are three consecutive batches up to my batch and had placement of 2/30, 2/30, 2/60 respectively in Yokogawa Electric. Few others got into TCS, HP, Unisys, and a few more companies also. In my batch, 10% of the people got placed in HP, 5% in TCS, 5% in Unisys with a minimum salary of 2.4 LPA and up to a maximum of 3.3 LPA.

Overall, it is a good college to study.

Placements: They take a lot of fee for placement training. It's expected only about 40% to 50%. CS, IS and EC branches are satisfactory in the placements. TCS is the only mass recruiter coming to the college. For mechanical engineering, civil engineering, never expect for core company, try to push yourself into some IT firms on the campus. A maximum list of around 30 companies visits the college. The overall placement looks like it is only for CSE students, but not for others.

The college is good but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placements on the campus are not good. Only TCS visits and takes the mass students for the just 3 LPA as a package. Its waste of time to attend the placements. The college is a good peace place and its autonomous college. The exams are conducted fast than VTU, and far better than VTU. The college helps you to study well. Overall, the placements are the worst.

The college has the good faculty members and the average placements.

Placements: The computer science placements are good. The companies like Xoriant, Brilasoft, Odessa etc., visited our college to hire the students. The mass companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, and a few others also visit the campus. Almost, all the CSE students get placed in one or other companies. Overall, the placements for CSE students are good.

The facilities and level of education in my college.

Placements: There are many companies which are coming for placements. The companies which come mainly are HCL, Wipro etc. The companies also offer good salary like 5-6 LPA and the student also go for the internship. The highest salary is 60k per month, and the lowest maybe 20k per month.

Absolutely satisfied with the placement and infrastructure

Placements: The placement is increasing year by year as some well-known companies are visiting from the past 1 year such as Mindtree, Amazon, Cognizant, HCL, etc. The placement training class is given from the 1st year itself to students for the best jobs. Also, the internship is provided by Nokia and Texas Instruments for both UG and PG students. The highest package of 2017 batch is 25.1 lakhs per annum from "Directi" and various roles were offered.

Best college for sc/st students in Karnataka to get maximum advantage, but not preferable for GM.

Placements: The placement is not very good for the civil branch since there will be visits from very few IT companies like TCS, Mindtree, Infosys, Wipro with packages of around 2.5 L to 5.5 LPA as the maximum. The average package was 3.5 LPA. The software-based branches like computer science, information science, electronics and telecommunication do have placement opportunities.

Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is okay

Placements: The placement percentage is not up to the expectations and fewer companies come for campus recruitment. Last academics placements were only about 50% that too in the IT field. But companies will train the students to their jobs. Our college will also conduct some workshops on the campus association with the reputed companies.

I found Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology as a good college for people who prefer autonomous.

Placements: Placements are good for students looking forward to join MNCs. Placement training was developed to the next level from the past two years. From most of the students who attended interviews, around 5 got placed which was a positive thing but however as I am from mechanical, I was left disappointed as not even one core company came. At least one or two companies should be allocated for every branch. The salaries were based on two levels there were tier-1 companies and tier-2 companies, Tier-1 comp...

Best place for scoring and entering the IT field.

Placements: Average placement. A minimum of 10-15 companies visits the campus regularly. The major recruiters are TCS, Tech Mahindra, CGI, L&T Technologies, etc. Other companies like Subex, Xoriant, Maintec, etc. visit too. 50% of the total final year students got placed. This year, 256 students out of 650 students got selected for TCS, 50 for Tech Mahindra, 30 for L&T, and 48 for Maintec.

Dr. AIT, fastest growing autonomous college but needs a better management.

Placements: TCS is the only mass recruiter and they didn't call any other mass recruiters. Only 4-5 companies, which recruit 5-10 members, do come. They take Rs. 5000 as the placement training and Rs. 5000 after getting placed, don't know for what. The faculty members give good tips which will help in getting placed, but everything depends on you. The college may not play a proactive role.

Good college and hostel but below par in placements.

Placements: Placement is average. The placements for CSE and ECE are about 90%. TCS will take a majority of the students. Amazon and some other companies also visited. As I would say, the college is known for TCS placements. The mech students will not get many opportunities. The CS students get many placement opportunities.

Average placements, good faculty, excellent infra.

Placements: Mainly TCS will come and take up to 250 students. Further many companies come and go and only select a number of students, maybe in a single digit or two. Most of the companies come to ec, cs, dept. But very rarely to the instrumentation dept. Overall placement training and selection process is good compared to previous batches. It improving year by year.

Computer science department is one of the most amazing branch of the college as majority of the placements are for the computer science department. Teachers give a lot of work and assignments to do which will help the students to improvise themselves in the corporate industry. The crowd is very good. One gets an ample amount of opportunities to curb impulses. Overall, placements are average in the college.

Life at Dr. AIT is awesome and the campus is very good with above average infrastructure. The faculty is very student friendly. Soft skill classes are held from the 3rd year itself. One of the biggest fests Sanskruthi is held at Dr. AIT. The students are awesome. The crowd is very good, one has ample of opportunities to curb impulses. The placements are not so good in the college.

As this college is government aided, fees is less as compared to other private colleges. And, this is the best college for SC/ST students as they get few extra facilities like text books, pen drive, etc. as compared to other students. Placements are just average.

Department of Computer Science is pretty good. CS department has well qualified and good experienced lecturers. The bad thing is the placement department in our college and other than that everything is good. I hope, now the placement department has improved compared to the year 2014.

Brief review of Dr.AIT, and campus life as well as placements

Placements: The placements are relatively weak in the college, with the aggregate percentage not exceeding 60% and a package of less than 3.5 LPA . After placement, the students have to pay a commission of Rs.5000 to the college as a token of gratitude for placing them. Majorly, TCS is the mass recruiter of the college.

It is a very good college. It has nice and highly qualified faculty and is also enriched with world class infrastructure. Also, canteen of this college is worth for serving high quality food at subsidised rates. Discipline is also one of the key point of this college. Library is world class with all the latest and large resource availability.
