Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty. The infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. My seniors got placed in good IT companies such as Capgemini, in the past. Core companies like Sankalp Semiconductor visited our college in 2018 and recruited more than 300 students from professional degrees, MBA and M.Tech courses.

Aeie 2017 passout experience.

Placements: I got placed in Tech Mahindra Ltd which visited our campus on Day-0 slot. Several other companies visited the campus for placement. Core companies like Johnson Controls, Indian Oil Tanking, etc., visit the campus and hire the students. Other IT MNCs also visited our campus and selected students from our department.

A review to Dr B C Roy Engineering college.

Placements: Placement is very good in the college for talented people. Their is less scope for core branches. Non core branches are given sufficient opportunities. Average package is 3 Lacs here. Major MNC does not come to college. So big brand placement is 0%. Here big brand includes TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPE GEMINI, CINIFF and other startups.

Supportive faculty members, good infrastructure, but poor placements.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus for placements. Among them, there are only a few good companies, and they hire only one or two students. The names of companies which were not heard earlier give many placement opportunities to students. Trusted companies like Maheshwari Mining also takes 12 students from all branches, so this is a good college.

Placement needs to be improved.

Placements: No placement for M.Tech students. What I heard placement for B.Tech is not so good. No more mnc visit the college. As compare with other colleges in Kolkata. Placement status of its is very down. Few companies visited the college, placement is very poor.

It is a good place to come and learn.

Placements: As you know this branch is getting into the act with a new phase, the demand for it is going up day by day. Last year, our seniors got very good placements. Almost 70% of the students have been placed this year. Good companies are visiting here which gives you a good opportunity to get placed. You can also get the placements from outside the campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: Placement is not so good. Percentage of placed students is 30%-40%. The highest salary package is 3 lacs. Maximum IT companies comes. There is a placement cell. Placement cell is very useful bcos of any doubt can connect to placement cell about companies.

The entire review is based on my personal experience.

Placements: The placement status of our college is quite good. Inspite of being a private college, this college serves us placement opportunities. Although it is not enough for us, but students who are having skills and talents in subject matter and programming and technical field can easily get a job.

Our college is average in every field.

Placements: Good placements are available in the college. On an average, 50-60% of the students get placed from every batch. Companies like Capgemini, TCS, Johnson Control and many more companies come here for recruitment. The placement cell is good and active. Recent placements have not been good in our college, but the past few years placements were very good, and a maximum number of students got placed. In short, if you are serious, then you will definitely get placed.

Good infrastructure with satisfactory placements!

Placements: I am going to graduate from this college and I'm placed in Capgemini India during campus drive on September 2017. That was the 1st MNC that came in our college this year. But my college managed to bring many start up companies, 75 % students from my department is placed this year. From the previous batch 50 % students got placed. This year the highest package goes around 5 LPA and the lowest was 2.45 LPA. Yes of course there is a sincere placement cell in our college and they are very efficient...

Not that good anymore. Is failing to keep up with it's name.

Placements: The placement isn't a very good one. Not many good companies come for on-campus placements. The only hope for students is the off-campus placements. This year Tech Mahindra and Cabgemini were the only two good companies that came for the placements. And that too very few students cracked a job on campus. The last time we heard, only 28 students got a job, which includes the not so good companies as well. But rest assured if you have the skills, you will surely get your dream job.

Good college only for those who do not want placement but to crack GATE.

Placements: The placement condition of our college is not so good and is degrading day by day. The placement of our senior batch is the worst only 20% students are placed with the highest salary up to 4 lac. This year also the condition of placement is not so good. Only CSE and It students got some company rest are still jobless. The percentage of placement is still 20%. Tcs, Capegemini, Cinif and few more companies came to our college this year. The college website is also making fool of other students as ...

A good college to pass time but not much to expect for the future.

Placements: About 2 or 3 companies with least possible salaries are invited for placements. Most of them aren't even connected to mechanical field work directly. So, there is no prospect of growth with starting experience either. So, I would say for mechanical engineering students, there isn't much hope for the campus placements from this college.

This is the average engineering college in India.

Placements: The placement during my time was better than the previous year at least regarding the number of companies, but all are of IT service-based companies. No core company visited the campus. Hence, there is no placement for core branches like electrical, mechanical, and civil. Only ECE and CS branch people got placed in the IT company.

The average rated college in Durgapur.

Placements: The placements are good for non-core branches and less than average in core branches. Management line was straight that they could not be able to provide placement to the maximum number of students in core companies. Our senior batches placements were much better than us.

Dictatorship at Dr B C Roy Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are above average, but there is a lack of core companies in the placements. Most of the colleges in India face the same. The job profiles offered by few companies were not worthy. Most of the core section students opt for GATE preparation because of the scarcity of jobs.

The good platform to crack the GATE. Otherwise, you will do B.Tech for the degree only.

Placements: For talented it doesn't matter, but after all, the placement is average. The packages vary from 1.6 to 9 LPA. The companies like Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra has visited the campus for the placement drive. The highest package offered is 18 LPA. The companies like Microsoft also visited the campus for the recruitment of the talented students.

A life changing decision.

Placements: The placements are very poor for civil and mechanical. I think it is one of the best colleges for electronics department. The placements are good only for non-core branches. Call centres are recruiting even students from civil and mechanical. One should not come to this college unless and until you have to pursue in ECE department.
