I am satisfied with the faculties because they make us understand in a simple and easily methods.

Placements: The placement of this college is better than other colleges. Most of the students are from the ECE, who got placement in this year. In this year most of the telecommunications companies have come for the recruitment, and pool campus drive. The board of this college is dependent on the West Bengal University of technology.

The average private engineering college to take a B.Tech degree.

Placements: I did not get any placement from college. You all know that it is very tough to get the job from outside as a fresher due to bad scenarios of IT sector in these times. Many students got placed from my batch mostly in Chinese chip company OPPO as marketing job at a very low salary of 8000/ month. Do not take admission in any college of West Bengal if you want campus placement and good personality because there are no more companies in West Bengal to give you the job as a fresher and as you would ...

Review of BCREC, great faculty, good infrastructure but bad vice-principal.

Placements: Placement is quite good. But the problem is that the core companies do not visit. Other streams get good campusing. The package is moderate. The college sometimes invites some companies which offer roles which are not related to engineering. If someone wishes to take admission then don't take any core stream.

An overview of Dr. B.C.Roy Engineering College.

Placements: The college placement is quite good for non-core branches like CSE, IT and AEIE. But for core branches, you really need to put your best because the college is not going to provide you good companies with a good package, so one needs to do hard work and get a job from outside the campus.

Good college with respect to studies and other aspects but really bad in terms of placements.

Placements: Placements are very poor in the mechanical department in this college, especially if you want a placement in core companies then there is nothing for you. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc are not in tie-ups with this college and doesn't offer placements in the college, yet students try off-campus drives of these companies in various pool campuses organised at different colleges like RCC Institute of Technology, Techno India, etc. One can take a job in only software firms. Average college, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements for my batch were below average. Total 40% of students were got placed. The highest package was 7 LPA and the average was 3 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Sankal, SAP, Robert Bosch and Indian Navy are some companies visited the campus. Most of the students were given associates role in the campus selection. 50-70 % got internship from the college.

A college not worth its name.

Placements: Till now, there have been nearly 200 placed students but to be true, only a few get a chance to sit for the placements. The college has some unknown criteria for allowing students to sit in the campus drives. Nearly 7-8% of the students are placed. The highest salary offered was 6.4 lacs by Robert Bosch (off-campus) whereas the lowest was 1.5 lacs by some core company. The average salary offered was 3.3 lacs. The companies which visited the campus were Tech Mahindra, Pompeii Technologies, Oppo,...

Good infrastructure but no placements

Placements: The placement is not so good in our college and the authority always complains about the students. No reputed companies came to recruit us, and TCS blacklisted our college for a few years. But, a few core companies will visit our college, but there is no proper information about the company's visit in our college.

An average private engineering college in the steel city of Durgapur. The quality of education provided here is above average. However, generally students solve their own academic problems, teachers don't help a lot. Some teachers do help you if you need it but others just come to do the work for which they get paid. Labs are good and there are good number of instruments available and the instruments do work. Administration is the worst part here. You can't get your work done until and unless y...

College has 10- 15% placements only looking towards making money. Better to go for simple graduation rather than wasting money here. Earlier, college was good since 2011 it started deteriorating. Avoid this college, alumnus are good. Day by day the college’s ranking is becoming poorer.

In my view, the college is not for good students.

Placements: There is placement only for the CSE, IT, ECE students. The companies that visit our college are software or marketing based. 10% of the companies are meant for the core departments like civil, mechanical, and electrical. Most of the companies call us for pool campusing.

BCREC DGP as name speaks for itself. There’s a choice of clubs & activities for all round development. Nowadays attendance is strict. Academically, if you manage your time well, you can do well. Teachers are good but not great. Students are extremely friendly. There are many places to relax. Films are screened occasionally in the auditorium. Being a private institute, college fees is not at all high comparable to other private institutes. Some good companies come for campus placements.

Campus is good. Faculty members are also very cooperative. Placement is below average. Laboratories are also good. Place is good but the nearest bus stand is more than 1 KM away. Mechanical, Electronics and Communication and Computer Science are the key streams of this college.

Actually it was not so good experience with our college members. They don't know how to behave with master degree students who in futures going to become professionals. Students have to make request for everything they need. They shows punctuality to the students but they don't care about their need of time. It is really embarrassing from college authority.

It used to be a very good college till 2009. Nowadays, there is nothing except the Campus life. Lack of literate people is the main reason that the college is unable to reach up to the mark. Till 2009, it had a very good placement record but now placement percentage has reduced to 15 to 20 %.

This college is not up to the mark. It is an average college, bad reviews, lesser placements, slow Wi-Fi campus, no cultural fest, insufficient space for the campus and only infrastructure is good. Students are not given importance here, there can be a worst review than this. Various funds are taken from students but they are not used for their welfare at all.

Not a good college because you will find lots of mass bunking of classes during semesters in which senior students are involved. You can’t complete overall syllabus for that reason. Some faculties are good and some are bad. Talking about placements in civil engineering department, no on-campus recruitment was held in civil egg. dept. College arranged some pool campuses in which 5 students out of 70 has been placed and the salary is between 15k to 20k. My suggestion is, if your rank is bad and yo...

It is better to opt for some other colleges.

Placements: The placement percentage is quite good. Almost 60-70% of the students got placed, but the main problem is the salary package and job roles. Few students got the best jobs in TCS and Infosys, but most of them ended up with some unsatisfactory jobs with a salary package of 2-2.5 LPA.
