Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Delhi University, offers a variety of specialties in its BA curriculum, each with specific benefits of its own. Popular concentrations include Business Economics (BBE), Hindi, Economics, Political Science, and Mathematics. The college is renowned for its excellent professors, high caliber of instruction, and exams that are just moderately challenging. The fee for various BRAC BA (Hons) and BA (Programme) ranges between INR 38,710 and INR 81,640 for three years. The exact amount depends upon the choice of specialisaton. The amount of fee payable by candidates under the unreserved/SC/ST/OBC/EWS categroy is the same. The college provides a fee concession for the candidates under the PWD category. For PWD category, the BA fee for the first year is INR 55. The curriculum of BA (Programme) at BRAC is spread over a period of six semesters with four papers for each semester. Students can choose among various subjects/papers. Once the results for CUET UG are out, the candidate will have to visit the DU CSAS portal to register themselves for the seat allocation. While filling the form the candidates will have to select Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College and the desired BA course. There is a one-time application fee to register on CSAS portal. The fee is non-refundable. CSAS UG fee applicable to different categories is as follows:

Documents required during the DU CSAS registration process:

In 2022, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College admission 2023 for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. 

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which will be out on August 1, August 10 and August 22, 2023, respectively for all categories. 

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

To apply for a programme in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Register yourself on the official website of NTA for CUET UG. While filling the form select Delhi University and the desired course. To submit the CUET UG application form the candidate will have to pay the application fee.

Step 2: Appear for the CUET UG entrance test.

Step 3: Once the results are out, register as a new user on DU CSAS portal and submit Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College and the desired course in order of preference. The seat allocation would be done in several rounds. Candidates can choose to accept, reject, freeze or upgrade the provisionally allotted seat.

Step 4: Once the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, they will have to pay the fee of the selected course to finalise the application process.

No, there is no offline method of application at Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG for UG admission to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Candidates can register on the official websites of the respective exam, fill out the online application forms, pay the course-wise application fee and appear for the exam to become eligible. For final admission, shortlisted and pass-out students of CUET UG are required to register on the CSAS portal for final admission and seat allocation process.

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.A. Programs at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College

The placement cell of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College is considered to be average by many students and alumni. Here are some key points that summarize their feedback:

* Limited number of big companies: According to some students, only a few big companies visit the campus for recruitment, and mostly startups attend the placement drives.

* Commerce and Economics department dominates placements: Students from the Commerce and Economics departments seem to get more placements, leaving fewer opportunities for other streams.

* Placement package: The average salary package offered varies between INR2-3 LPA, with the highest package being around INR4.5 LPA.

It has a two floor library which is the biggest in any Delhi University college. It also has a large ground for students. It is jn the top 10 list of psychology colleges.
