How will Class 12 results be calculated 2021-22 onwards?

Going forward, Class 12 pattern will be divided into two parts: Term 1 and Term 2.

Term 1 (50% syllabus):The exams will be held in Nov-Dec and are going to be MCQ-based. These MCQs will be based on case, assertion and reasoning, and the duration will be of 90 minutes. Term 1 exams will be conducted in the school itself with external invigilators visiting, as appointed by the board. Class 12 Term 1 marks will be added to the final result.

Term 2 (50% syllabus): Term-2 exams will be conducted in Mar-Apr. Questions asked in Term 2 will be in different formats and will be: Case-based, Short/Long Answer-based and Situation-based. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. Class 12 Term-2 exams will be conducted in the exam centres.
