Placements: There were absolutely no placements for M.Sc. students. Just the forwarded messages, and we had to go for the mass interviews from those. We ourselves went for internships for 6 months. No recruiting companies were present. Hardly 10 percent of us got jobs.
Placements: Our college has good placements. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. Most students work on research projects. It provides wide opportunities in the drug industry. Internships are provided and benefit students who want to study abroad.
Placements: Many students opt for higher education, and few students apply for jobs in this course. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Students got placed in Biotech and pharma companies like Lupin, Serum Institute of India, etc. If you are a materialistic person, do not opt for this sector because, in India, the biotech and pharma companies are 75 years behind compared to the USA. IT companies are more in demand because this course is for only 5-10 years compared to foreign count...
Placements: About 60-65% of students get placed in our course. The top recruiting companies are Biocon and Serum Institute. The top roles offered are industrialist, genetic counselor, research and development, and many more. Though campus placement is that good, one should also try off-campus placement.
Placements: Placements in our college are not very great, but students have recognition outside of college. So it's easy to get a job considering the low scope of biotechnology in India. Most people tend to do MS in foreign countries. One of the top recruiters in our college is Medtronics.
Placements: More than 50% of students are placed. The highest package was 8 LPA. Pharma companies and food companies are top recruiting companies. Companies like synergene offers internship. Some of the students got their internship in AIIMS and other government institutions.
Placements: Many companies visit our college, but due to Covid crises, many of our seniors haven't got placements yet. So we don't know anything about it. However, our college provides in-house internships also, but recruiters prefer outhouse internships more than in-house.
Placements: Around 60% of the students from our course got placed as interns in pharmaceutical companies. Usually, at this level, they get hired as interns with an average salary of Rs. 25,000 per month in a pharmaceutical company. Placements: In our college, placements are average with the salary package ranging from 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Many companies recruit many students from here, and there were best placements until now. Placement officers help in every possible way they can. You get an average salary package of approximately 3 LPA.
Placements: Almost all the students got placed after completion of the course in some laboratory or industry. REASEARCH, marketing, quality control like various roles offered in my course. Medtronics is one of the major recruiting company which recruit students at very high number with effective annual package.
Placements: As such placements are not there because 90% of students opt for higher studies but still, there are some companies that visit for on-campus job recruitment. As far as internship goes most of the students get placed in different institutes and companies like Serum, DRDO, etc.
Placements: Placements are not that great because biotechnology is still a growing field in India. Usually students here opt for higher education like MS in foreign universities or go for GATE. You can appear for GRE or for GATE. Anyway students do get internships in CSIR labs and also majority get placed but salary is not satisfactory.
Placements: Very few students desired for opting jobs after completion of the degree. Compared to it, the college placements were average and offering salary packages of around 2-3 LPA. Apart from it, all the students got internships and were placed at famous research institutes.
Placements: I think about 10-15% of the students got placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. I don't know about the top recruiting companies in our college. Students are offered with roles like research analyst, data analyst, etc. I don't have enough information about placements. Perhaps 20% of the students got placed, but I am not aware of the placement details as a lot of students choose to pursue higher studies, including masters in PhDs all over the globe. Serum Institute of India an...
Placements: 30% of students only got selected in Omics international. No other company recruited the students. All of them got packages upto 2-3 Lacs. Some students got internship in Serum, Lupin and Intas through their connections. The college did not help in any of it. No top roles were offered. 50% of students got internship.
Placements: Since the course is relatively new, placements are low. Biocell from Hyderabad had hired most students. But placements have relatively increased. If percentage was taken 25 percent people were placed in Hyderabad. The roles offered were of research trainees and junior researchers. Most students opted to go abroad and study.
Placements: Very few students got placed in our course. The salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA.
