Course Curriculum Structure for B.E./B.Tech in Dr. G.U. Pope College Of Engineering

The course curriculum for B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ECE) at Dr. G.U. Pope College Of Engineering appears to focus more on theoretical concepts rather than industry-specific skills. According to student reviews:

    * Teaching: "Teachers don't teach half the lessons. the teaching is not proper." However, some faculty members are considered friendly and willing to help students clarify doubts.
    * Syllabus: The curriculum seems to prioritize memorization over practical application, making it challenging for students to become industry-ready. Students mentioned that the syllabus does not prepare them for real-world problems.
    * Industry relevance: Despite being affiliated with Anna University, the course curriculum lacks industry-specific training, leaving students unprepared for professional life.
    * Practical skills: Some faculty members offer additional skills development programs like web designing, android development, and PCB design, but these opportunities seem limited.

Review of Dr. G.U. Pope College Of Engineering.
Placements: Our college students are placed in Panasonic and Mother-Son Pvt Ltd. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and our classmate has placed in a reputed MNC named Adventura Technologies Pvt Ltd. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HDFC, LIC, SBI, SPIC Thoothukudi, Zoho, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: It provides 24X7 Wi-Fi facilities on the campus including a hostel. It has a green and clean campus. Our computer laboratories have air-conditioning facilities, and RO drinking water facility is also available. It provides luxury air-conditioned buses for transporting around the district. Hostel food is average in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and 40% of them are Ph.D. scholars. They not teaching syllabus curriculum but also they teaching extra skills development programs such as web designing, android development, PCB design, etc. Semester exams are hard for all students by university norms and regulations. But if students study well, they will pass. The exams are easily clear by the students otherwise, the rest of things are good.
Other: Because of ECE department, I opted for this course. The students are enjoying campus cultural and sports activities, and teams are formed for throwball, volleyball, and cricket.

Campus with making memories with friends and staff.
Placements: Not good placements, we are the first batch of mechanical engineering in our college so there are not so many companies for getting placed. I placed in Motherson automobile company with a salary of Rs.14000 per month in Chennai. As a trainee, I can join there.
Infrastructure: I can say the infrastructure is good. It is not the best or better. For our classrooms, there is a single board to split two classes, simple lecture halls with ceiling fans, and sitting chairs with integrated writing boards. Just neat and clean classrooms.
Faculty: I have never seen such a friendly staff ever. Friendly faculty members, care about our lives. As our college is affiliated with anna university, semester exams may be tough sometimes. The way of teaching is not so good. But they always try to make students learn things easily.

Satisfied because of friendly teachers and low fees structures.
Placements: Top roles offered is VLSI testing engineer, the lowest package given is 8k per month to 23k per month. About 20 percent placements and none of the students got internship from the course we studying. Mostly third party companies will recruit from our college.
Infrastructure: Vera bad infrastructure, not the worst but a decent classroom with dust always. Fans were missing in some classrooms, our college doesn't have multiple Wi-Fi labs, recently they fixed Wi-Fi connection to the second computer lab. Quality of the food in hostel wasn't great, sometimes it is the worst to taste. There is limited items in the hostel. Sports period available only before 2 weeks from the sports day .
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly, but they are not well talented and knowledgeable. Semester exams are medium and also easy if we study. Pass percentage is about 45% from each subject. Teachers are not helpful in arrear examinations. This course curriculum doesn't make students industry ready .

Absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure and the faculty members and the management .
Placements: Placements were not good. No good companies will come here. But there is some placement offers from companies which produce spare parts etc. Top role given to our students from the companies is supervisor and the top package given around 25 thousand.
Infrastructure: Not at all good and super infrastructure. Even though schools are better than our college. The worst ever canteen in our campus. Our canteen is like a tea shop in a rural village. Not much amount of snacks and cool drinks. Limited bakery items, dinning Hall is also not super, it is like simple bench with two rusted chairs.
Faculty: Teachers are be like just to work for their sake. Semester exams are moderate but sometimes it is difficult. Syllabus is not like to make industry ready engineers. Just a theoretical memorizing syllabus which will empower the memory power of the students.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for your course classroom library are excellent. Quality of the facilities in the hostel and food in the mess is good and canteen medical facilities sports and games and experience are also good.
Faculty: Yes were the teachers helpfully teacher teaching the subjects we any doubt asked them he clarification the qualified and knowledge's Yes, courses of the college-relevant students are industry-ready nearly 80% of the semester exams in this college of the pass percentage.

I am not satisfied with its management, infrastructure, and hostel facilities.
Placements: Around 30% of students are placed in our course, and there are no good placements. None of tier 2 and tier 1 companies will come to our college for placements. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 0.8 LPA to 2.5 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies and internships are not provided. Circuit quality check or debugging are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good, there will be rooms as lecture halls, seminar halls, laboratories, etc. Wi-Fi are not for students. The food is not good in the hostel, and some days students can get good food. There are no medical facilities on the campus, a simple canteen just like of a normal tea shop in road sides is provided, and only one day given in a year for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers won't teach half the lessons, they skip some of the lessons. The teaching is not proper. The course related is not industry-related. Due to the poor teaching, if students push hard by themselves then they can take 80% of marks. Pass percentage is 50% in each subject.
Other: Our course is ECE and the course is good. Our college is not crowded one. Overall strength is below 500. I suggest good infrastructure, need well trained faculty members, and also need responsible management.
