The Dr Shyama Prasad Mukjerjee University median package offered in 2023 is not yet released in official website but the average package was 2LPA and the highest package was upto Rs 5 Lakh per annum. The companies visitng the campus were TCS, Capgemini, Cognizent, Concentrix, Accenture, HCL, TCS etc. Almost 30% was the total placement percentage. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is good for BA course as it is a State government, University. The university offers this course at 5.5 k to 11.1 k tuition fees. The basic eligibility to get admission in this college is 10+2 with 50 percen aggregate along with CBSE 12th marks or JAC 12 marks . CUET is also a major exam considered for getting admission in this  Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University. The reputed companies like Infosys, Cisco, Wipro also took part in the placement drive and offered a reasonable package to the students.

No compulsory entrance exam is required for admission to BA programs at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) in Ranchi. The last date to apply for admission to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU), formerly Ranchi College, for the 2023–2024 academic year is May 6, 2024. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG exam will be held from May 15–31, 2024. 

DSPMU CUET cutoff 2023 is expected to release soon. CUET results has been released on July 15, 2023 so check college webiste . Candidates seeking admission in DSPMU, must keep in mind that the university has started accepting CUET scores for admission from 2023 onwards.

It has got several eligibility requirements :- 

• Minimum 50% aggregate at 12 class from a recognised board. 
• For B.Ed, candidates must have at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree. 
• For BBA, candidates must have 12 class with 45% marks
• For B.Sc, candidates must have passed 12 with 45% marks.

Admission  for undergraduate and postgraduate courses can be merit-based on the entrance exam. 

Since Dr. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee University is a government establishment University, the fee structure and the hostel fees are very low compared to private universities in India.
