Dr. Shyama Prasad University sets its admission cutoff based on the grades or scores students submit in their applications. This cutoff is the minimum score needed to get into the university's programs. Students who did really well in their previous exams and meet or exceed this cutoff get offers to join the university. This is how the university ensures it admits students based on their academic performance and merit. It accepts marks from exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA.

 

The last date to apply for admission to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU), formerly Ranchi College, for the 2023–2024 academic year is May 6, 2024. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG exam will be held from May 15–31, 2024. 

To get into Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University for B.J.M.C., you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria of having a 10+2 or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 45% marks. The admission is based on merit or entrance exam performance, and candidates are shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and performance in the entrance test. The university has a reservation policy for candidates belonging to the State of Jharkhand, and the benefits of the same shall be given to them only. The university offers a three-year B.J.M.C. course, and the fee structure for the same is INR 10,000 per semester for all categories. DSPMU CUET cutoff 2023 is expected to release soon. CUET results has been released on July 15, 2023 so check college webiste . Candidates seeking admission in DSPMU, must keep in mind that the university has started accepting CUET scores for admission from 2023 onwards.
