I am sharing this after my three years experience.

Placements: The placements offered are quite good than the other colleges in Kanpur. You don't need a good score for the placement in VSICS. The basic knowledge and communication skill can help you to get a job here. If you want to get placed in the companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys, then you have to be a part of the off-campus interview that is conducted in other parts, but you will get a chance to be a part of it if you are talented enough.

Mixed professional life at VSICS.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college is not so good. Approximately 15-20 percent of the total batch get placed. Although the students who get placements (i.e. among those 15-20 percent) are placed in reputed companies like TCS and Wipro. The main criterion to get placements is to secure good marks in your exams. The highest salary offered in my batch was Rs. 3.5 lpa. The college does not provides any internships. You have to search for internships on your own, and internships do not effect your...

It's only good for placements. This college is not for your enjoyment, and the campus is too small.

Placements: 50% of students are placed in BCA, and I have no idea about other branches like MCA, BBA, or MBA. According to what I know, the highest package is 5 LPA and the lowest is 1 LPA (it can be different, though). Accenture and TCS are the top recruiting companies. About 30% of students got internships.

I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in our college. The salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, etc. Almost 60% of students got internships. Our college doesn't provide good placement opportunities.

Dr. VSICS was the college where I got some good skills which makes me ready for industry.

Placements: Student had scored minimum 50 to 80 percentage in this course. Companies pike wipro tcs etc. Are come to place no. Of students there are no. Of roles for students student needs to score at least 60 percent to go for the placement for there future for good package.

This nice college is specially good for the students of middle class.

Placements: About 50% and more students are placed in this institute. The highest package in my college is about 4 or 5 LPA and the lowest package ranges between 2 to 3 LPA. The BCA course for today's students is very instrumental in providing them with a good platform in the tech sector. And each and every student can be a good employee for the hiring companies.

Review of Dr Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies (VSICS).

Placements: Only 25% of the students get placements from here. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Byju's, Infosys, etc., are the top recruiters here. Data management engineer, backend software developer, part of research and development team in the company, etc., roles are offered here.

This college is below average.

Placements: In my batch, there are 600 students of BCA only and after passing out in 2020 almost 35-40% of students were placed and the average package was approx. Rs 2 lac per annum. In my college Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and many companies visited for placements.

I am dissatisfied with college infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements are not good here. Some non-technical companies such as Alight and British Telecom visited this year. The average salary package offered is 1.8 LPA which is very less to survive in a metro city. Placements are very low. Around 300 students attended placements, and only 150 got a selection. The highest salary offered for BCA was Rs. 21,000 per month approximately by a non-technical company and the lowest salary offered was around Rs. 13,000-15,000 per month. Companies don't prefer this...
