Satisfied with the faculty. Good placement in 2013, and it has good infrastructure.
Placements: Very good placements are conducted by placement cell. TCS, HCL, and Wipro companies come here for the placements. Around 20-30 students are placed in TCS, and 8 students are placed in HCL. Around 75% of the students were placed in various companies. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is provided in every class and every room in the hostels. The classrooms are very good. The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the necessary books are there in the library. Always there is a doctor on the college premises for students and teachers.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-qualified. The teachers are helpful all the time. Whenever we went to them, they are always ready to help us. The student to faculty ratio is 15:1. I got the industry exposure. List of all teaching methods of every faculty member was awesome.

Good college, but not very good in terms of placement and infrastructure.
Placements: It is not that much good in terms of placement during the course or after completion of the course, but the alumni are placed in all sectors in very reputed positions based upon their skills and expertise. Recently, TCS started a campus placement drive in this college and lots of students are placed there. Otherwise, you can attend pool campus/ off-campus drives for opportunities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is kind of OK. Hostels and the college are fully Wi-Fi enabled. The central library has lots of books and you can sometimes visit the library to know about the awesome collection of books, journals etc. Labs and classrooms are also OK. The canteen is not so cool, but the restaurants outside of the college are OK. The college has an awesome basketball ground and is rich in culture. You will find unity and diversity here.
Faculty: The most important thing is you can get the help of awesome young professors all the time. They are all involved in some thesis always and have published a lot of journals from this institute. Recently, robotics and electronics departments are involved in several cutting-edge projects and always inspire their students to get involved in such activity. Hackathon is one of the events where students love to participate.

Dumkal, a place unknown which needs a lot of development and support.
Placements: The placements in Dumkal never used to happen. Being in a remote area, companies hardly visited the campus and many students had to go out and search for opportunities outside. The students used to sit in off-campus interview drives to stand a chance to be placed. During our batch, only 5 students out of a total of 257 got placed. The annual package offered was 1.5 lacs, and there was only one company that visited the campus, Merce Technologies. The roles offered were software development roles in Java technology. There were no internship offers from the college and students had to go out and look for the summer internship.
As there was no internship offered, no stipends come into the picture.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure had the following facilities: A canteen with mouth watering food. A library with a wide variety of books for learning. A football ground where we used to organise our annual events and sports festivals. The college hostels are a total of four in number 3 for boys 1 for girls. The total capacity of the hostels were 700 students. Inside the hostel, we had a canteen where three times meals were available. The hostel rooms had attached bathrooms with bed facility and 3 per room. Other facilities like a common room are available where we used to play carrom and other indoor activities. The hostel and college had Wi-Fi facilities for the students and faculty members.
Faculty: The faculty members at Dumkal consisted of permanent and lecturers on probation. There were a total of 20 lecturers and other heads of the departments. The faculty members were good in terms of IT and mechanical departments, and were also cooperative and skilled. The course curriculum involved the students in understanding the basic knowledge about engineering, their uses and other applications. In my time, we were taught about the major software development languages that were in practice. The course was designed in a way to prepare the students for final rounds of interviews. The curriculum also had some papers of finance and management which also gave a view to the students about the management techniques.
