Placements: Being a B.A. Hons. student who didn't get placed, there was a company named "Genpact" which offered us a job. For other streams too, there were many companies visiting and providing placements. Overall, we can say this college is the best in terms of placements.
Placements: Two companies came for placement. One is BT British Telecom, and another is Genpact. I choose Genpact because it's a great platform to learn for freshers, and still I am doing the job in Canadian banking process as a process associate role. I will not disclose the name of the bank because it's compliance as per rule in Canada. Hiring was good, and people are selected for their performance. The interview process is that written, communication round, and the HR round. Then I got selected for the j...
Placements: The placements held in last year was good, and around 25-30% of the students got placed. The highest pay was Rs 40,000 per annum, and the lowest was 12k-15k, and the average was 20k. The Decathlon policy bazaar has visited the campus. The role offered to the students are of sales manager, public relation manager, etc. There was no internship programme.
Placements: There were some opportunities for everyone to grab the placement. But the company which came across were BPO and offer very fewer packages. But no offence because it was the first time that many companies came to the college. Companies like Genpact, Value 360 and many more visited our college.
Placements: The placements will be excellent, and many companies will visit the college. Many of the students are selected in the campus placement. The placements of the senior batch were excellent, but at my placement time, it was decreased. The minimum package offered was Rs. 10,000 per month and the maximum was Rs. 40,000.
Placements: The placement cell made a lot of efforts to give more and more opportunities. However, still, there were not more than 3, 4 companies, also the companies were not big. The packages offered were not good. Mostly BPO companies came and were offering very low packages. The morning college had very good placements.
Placements: Placements for our batch are good as compared to our senior batch. Around 60-70% of our seniors got placed, whereas more than 80% of students got placed from our batch. Many reputed companies like Amazon, Flipkart, EY, KPMG, etc., visit our college for placements and also many IT companies visit to hire the students. The placement cell does a great job to provide opportunities to students. Many of our classmates got placed in finance companies with a good salary package.
Placements: The placements weren't good at all. The students weren't informed about visiting companies and no initiative was taken to work in this area. No one from our batch secured a job. The college did nothing to offer internships as well. Most of the students opted for higher studies.
Placements: Some of my classmates are placed in companies like Genpact and Wipro and some are preparing for civil services. Others are pursuing their M.A. degree. Students got placed in Genpact and Wipro are earning around 40,000 per month, but in the year 2015, there were not many companies that came. Companies that came didn't provide better packages and the year 2014 also followed the footsteps of its previous year.
Placements: There is an inactive placement cell and it is overcrowded with students. Less package is offered and no good company came for selecting the students. As they also knew the true condition, many students do not even qualify for interviews as there are very low packages if selected.
Placements: The past history of college was average but there is still a big space for improvement. The average package for BCom honours is 4-5 lacs. The problem is bigger for the evening batch. Last year, around 60-70% only could get the placement from the college. E&Y and Deloitte were the big names in the previous placements.
Placements: Every year, at the end of March, they place many people from the college, and various companies will visit for many posts. In placements, there are no major companies. They won't pay you as much as you think. Last year, my friend was recruited by Sunsilk, and they were just paying him Rs. 10,500/month.
The college has a good campus with attractive sports facilities. There is a variety of options available for studies and the college provides placement opportunities with companies like E&Y and RBS. Faculty members are good but want all handwritten assignments. The mode of teaching is average. The college has sports teams but the playground infrastructure is old. A new building has been under construction. The toilets are not hygienic.
Very good college for commerce students. Always support the students in sports activities. The best canteen and connectivity to metro is the best part of the college. The crowd always awesome and the best teachers. Placements from the college are not so high, but student got placement in various good companies.
Connectivity by metro is superb the college is located just adjacent to Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. The college infrastructure is very big and the crowd is good so socializing is not a problem. Attendance wise college is not much strict, the college canteen is okay. It offers a wide variety of food items at economical rates. The environment of the college is okay and is going throughout the repair. The faculty is okay mostly you have to study yourself for the exam. Placement is okay. Good companie...
I have good reviews for this college. The campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is fabulous. The placements were ultimate. The fee structure at my time was worth the money. The faculty were up to the mark and even the college crowd was best. I will recommend this college to others and I actually referred this college to many of my friends.
The college is okay with decent facilities. The faculty for B.A Program and B.com (H) is very good especially the economics ones. The college has a cultural committee within which there are separate departments for dance, music and fine arts. The college also offers several opportunities to be a part of committees like Gender sensation, Forum of national and international awareness etc. Infrastructure is decent and a new section for science and commerce department has also been established with...
Some of the professors in my department were tremendous teachers. The environment was pretty chilled out too. On a whole, it was worth experiencing DU life with all the fest, programmers and many more spontaneous activities. I made lots of friends, learned a lot from professors etc. Dyal Singh Evening College is a good college and is not like the image that it was previously based on i.e. no fights and danger when you step in campus, it is safe for girls to attend evening shift here. The campus ...
First of all it is situated on a great location, a free air compound. Faculty members are highly educated and they treat students as their son and solve all issues calmly. All the classes as well as the auditorium are well equipped with latest technology. It’s one of the renowned college of Delhi university. The infrastructure is very good, especially the canteen, football field, cricket pitch, basketball as well as volleyball court. There is no problem of transportation for the remote areas st...
The campus and the location of the college is just awesome, it is just 2-3 minutes away from Lodhi Garden. The professors of this college are supportive and punctual (except some). However, I find the administration of this college as very weak, they are not at all punctual. The political science department of this college is really awesome.
