Evening colleges aren't very bad.
Placements: Last year, around 40% of students got on-campus placements in the B.Com batch. The highest salary package offered is around 13 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG Global, EY, GDS, Grant Thornton, NIIT, Genpact, Wipro, Bajaj Capital, etc. Around 5-10% of students get internships from our course. Companies like Sharekhan, KVCH, Oracle, LIC, Rupeemakers, Yes Bank, and Young Engine visit the college for internship fairs. Roles offered are investment analyst, management trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: Dyal Singh has great infrastructure and a good amphitheater. It has a moderate auditorium. We have a great basketball court, cricket ground, and football field combined with a big NCC facility. There is a big library where students can find every book in every course. There is Wi-Fi in the library, so everyone can use it. The chemistry and physics labs are very good. The quality of the food in the canteen is moderate at a very affordable price.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. They have in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects. They are helpful and have decent teaching methods. The B.Com course provides a brief knowledge about the commerce industry and open ways for students in the industry. Semester exams are at a moderately difficult level. Around 85% of students clear the whole examination with no subject back.
Other: I chose this course because I want to study more about the commerce industry and open my way toward a good career ahead. B.Com provides a brief knowledge of every aspect of commerce to students. There should be a better admission process in DU selection. Events like Rajnigandha take place, which is amazing and enjoyable. There are many fests in the whole DU, which are easy to enter. The campus crowd is great. Many societies and clubs are formed for extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure and campus are above average. Faculty members are amazing.
Placements: While pursuing an English Honors course, most of the students do not directly opt for placements. Around 30-40% of students get placed. Majorly, roles are offered in Content Writing and Human Resources. Internship opportunities are more across various domains, with stipends ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 20,000.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel on campus. Overall, infrastructure is quite decent. The library is well-equipped with books ranging from fiction to curriculum-related books. Food in the canteen is average and could be improved. Sports facilities are available such as volleyball courts, a football ground as well as a basketball court.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-notch in the college. They are of the highest caliber in both experience and qualifications. The course is comprehensive, with additional subjects covering student's academic interests. Academically, Dyal Singh Evening does not fall behind any of its peers.

The infrastructure is good.
Placements: There are not many placements provided by the college; there are low placements in my college. The average package is 5 to 6 LPA. Companies like FMCG, KPMG, and BlackRock recruit from here. Maybe only 5% of students get placements in the college. The B.Com Honours course is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice. There is a library in the college, a canteen with quite good food. But there is one problem - there is no hostel on the college campus. There is a medical facility and sports facilities available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful; they are also well-qualified and knowledgeable. In my course, it is very helpful for the students. It makes students industry-ready because it is really helpful for their future. We do not face any difficulties.
Other: My course is Political Science Honours, and the best thing is that the teachers are very helpful.

Dyal Singh College has great faculty members.
Placements: Placements offered at Dyal Singh College are quite good. They offer jobs based on skills and there's no internal plotting. I'm currently a student of B.A. English honors and have tried doing internships that are offered by our college. I learned a lot.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have recently been rebuilt. Library has a different room to return and issue books. They have laptops installed in library.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. Classes occur on a regular basis and faculty members are experienced. Examination system is a little delayed. Forms for optional courses arrive late. Teachers and other staff members are very helpful. I personally find a deep relevance in the course I'm pursuing. The important guidelines provided to students will help in future.
Other: Extracurricular activities are also good.

Dyal Singh Eve College; Where I learned how to be a good human.
Placements: I was not a part of any placement programs, but my friend, who opted for the internship program, said that the programs were too good and they had a great learning experience there. The programs helped them. I don't know much about the recruitment, companies, and placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our faculty is very nice. The college has an adequate number of spacious, well-lit, well-ventilated, and furnished classrooms, which can accommodate more than 70 students with the best seating arrangements to facilitate proper teacher-student interaction.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and experienced. They had passion and enthusiasm for the subject, which made our learning experience both engaging and enjoyable. Their efforts in creating a positive and supportive learning environment have not gone unnoticed, and we were able to approach them with any questions or concerns.

Dissatisfied by faculty but good society.
Placements: I am pursuing B.A. Eco+HRM, and it is a decent course. DU has introduced a new education policy, and it makes my course better. The average package of my course is 5-6 LPA. Top roles offered in my course are HR Manager. Internship opportunities are good.
Infrastructure: Faculty is worse. I have never seen such rude and arrogant people in my whole life; they are very rude with students. The classroom is quite average, and the food is medium. We don't have Wi-Fi, ground, auditorium so that we can have an event. We don't have a hostel.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, and some are very mean and diplomatic. Teaching is good. They give good knowledge. Yes, it makes industry-ready students. We get so much practical knowledge. Semesters are not too difficult. It is very easy to clear and score.
Other: Fest is best. Dramatics society is best society in the campus, named Junoon.

Q:   How can I get admission in Dyal Singh Evening College?

A: 

In 2022, Dyal Singh Evening College (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. Dyal Singh Evening College admission 2023 for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit Dyal Singh Evening College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. 

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which will be out on August 1, August 10 and August 22, 2023, respectively for all categories. 

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Dyal Singh Evening College will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Dyal Singh Evening College accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

No, there is no offline method of application at Dyal Singh Evening College. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG for UG admission to Dyal Singh Evening College and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Candidates can register on the official websites of the respective exam, fill out the online application forms, pay the course-wise application fee and appear for the exam to become eligible. For final admission, shortlisted and pass-out students of CUET UG are required to register on the CSAS portal for final admission and seat allocation process.
