Placement should be better and the technique of teaching should be Digitalised. Thank you.

Placements: Some years ago core companies came into our college like Tata Steel, L&T etc. But recent 3-4 years there only IT companies are coming. The previous year there is only 30 students got a job out of 600 students through our college campus placements. Hope the situations better, and we will get the job in core companies.

A good college with good faculty members. Not the best, but worth it.

Placements: The placements are not good since the college is new and the first campus visit happened this year. However, the institute has promised better placements in the next few years. The institution promises to tie-up with Future Institute of Engineering and Management and provide placements for students of both these colleges together in the near future.

Decent 4-years experience in FIEM.

Placements: The placements of my batch and my senior batch have not been too remarkable. Although, the college can't be blamed for that mostly because the visiting companies are mostly recruiting fewer students that what they used to do before. The few of the companies that visited the campus include Wipro, Efftronics, Kreeti Technologies, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TSS, etc. And few more. The companies like Bentley, Hitachi, High-Tech, Byju's, etc., invited us for pool campusing, though not a very lar...

FIEM is a place to learn and explore your inner talent. Good facilities and no sports support.

Placements: The placements were not that good during my time. Two MNCs like Wipro and CTS visited our campus. Wipro selected few students like 5% of the total mass, whereas CTC covered 25% to 30% of the students. Apart from this, few small companies visited our college. Around 70% placed in our batch. The highest paid salary was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. The project manager is one of the assigned roles to the student. We have a placement cell who always try to bring more companies but failed to do ...

Overall, the college is average.

Placements: The placements are not much. Some companies are coming to our college like Wipro, Cognizant etc. But this year, Cognizant is not coming to our college campus. For this reason, the campusing of our college is not good. I don't know about the placements of the previous years, but in the current year, the placement of our college is too less. I don't know what kind of roles were offered to the students. Out of 450 students, 50 students were placed.

Satisfied with my college. This review is for my juniors.

Placements: A very important factor which fetches the placements for the 70% candidates. Honestly saying the placements depends on the student quality. Since FIEM is a good college, so good students take admission which results in good placement. Our main recruiting companies are Cognizant and Wipro. They normally make a target of 150 students in total. Now the left out students sit for off-campus, and pool campuses and 30-40% percent of the students get placements. If you see in total, 50-60% gets placemen...

The faculty and infrastructure of our college is very good. The placement cell is quite bad.

Placements: Here, in my college, only IT companies actively recruit the students. But, for core department like electrical and mechanical, the placement is quite bad. If you want to join us, then join in CSE or IT department. The placements till 2016 were good. After 2016, the graph is decreasing very fast.

Satisfied as there is no politics and I got placed in 2014 in Cognizant.

Placements: The placements of our batch were good. We all got placed in Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys. We got a package of 2.75 LPA on an average. 80% of students were placed. We use to have mock interviews and the college use to take part in pool campusing. Our senior batch also had good placements. Different core companies like BOC and L&T visited our campus. The students got placed in the role of programme analyst trainee.

Aspects of Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Sonarpur, Kolkata.

Placements: Being a private engineering institution, the college doesn't offer placements like other topmost institutions of the country, but some recognised MNCs like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini visit the campus. Cognizant, being the mass recruiter takes a healthy amount of students nearly about 170-180 while others take some handful numbers. The average salary ranges between 3-4 LPA.

Absolutely satisfied with the college. Got a job, and faculty and placements were good

Placements: FIEM is always known for its placements which are pretty much constant. But from last two batches, there was some news that the placement cell is not as good as its known for. How were the placement is not a question because it depends on students if the student is skilled enough, then he will get the job.

Overall, the college is balanced by giving good placement, and friendly manner is there.

Placements: Out of 60 students in CSE branch, there are 40 students got placement. The average placement for last 3 years is around 65-70%. Overall, it is bearable and good. Some big companies like Wipro, Cognizant, and many more companies have placed the students at well-reputed post with a good salary. The seniors are very positive to us about placement. The highest package is around 14 lakhs per annum by Wipro for a CSE student in 2015, and the average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum.

The college has a good environment.

Placements: The placements records are good. The companies like Wipro, Accenture, etc., come to recruit the students. But now, the graph is decreasing. This year, we have seen the protest against the college management for the placements. I think that it will improve in the future. The college management has promised to do so.

The placements are good in Future Institute of Engineering and Management.

Placements: My college has been a good placement provider in the previous years 2014, 2015 and many more years previously. Cognizant technology solutions is a major placement recruiter in my college. About 180 -170students were placed on the campus placements. Other job recruiters like Wipro, Infosys also takes about 20 freshers. The students were offered many types of roles.

A good management college of Kolkata and worth the money

Placements: The management placement is good. All the students of senior batches are placed. The package differs from company to company. Grooming is also done. But you cannot expect very high package salary from all the companies. But it is worth the money spend. The placement cell members will guide you well.

It is the future Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placement in the college is average. The placement of CSE and ECE are very good, but for the other core branch, there is a low placement because the core companies stopped coming to our college. But the student of the core branch can also try in the IT company if they have the ability to get the job. In the previous year, the placement was good, and I think that in coming next year the placement will also be good. Many companies like Cognizant, Bharti Airtel, Wipro, Amazon India, etc., have c...

Future Institute of Engineering and Management review

Placements: Very good placement opportunities in IT industries with exposure to more than 10-12 Indian companies and MNCs. IT companies like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. The students get the opportunity to sit in both on-campus an off-campus recruitments. Helpful and supportive training and placement officer to help the eligible students get good placement. The college placement cell also provides study material for the preparation of interview.

Review of Future Institute Of Engineering and Management

Placements: Two MNCs- CTS and Wipro- come in the month of September. They are the bulk recruiters. After that, some small companies come to recruit. Placement percentage varies year by year. When we were there, an exam used to be held and if anyone could score more than the cutoff, he or she would get the chance for an internship. Some core companies used to come and organise pool campus also. They used to offer the students the post of a developer.

Very good college campus. I love my college.

Placements: Our senior batch's placements are 100% completed. 95% students are already placed to top IT companies like TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Microsoft, IBM. The highest salary was offered by Microsoft at R. 9.8 lakhs/annum & the lowest salary was offered by IBM at Rs. 3.2 lakhs/annum. 70% students have got an internship from college in our batch.

It is one of the best private engineering colleges in West Bengal.

Placements: The placement of the college is good (more than average). Approximately 70% placement occurs every year on the campus. Students got placed from off campus too. The college also sends students for pool campus to different colleges. In my batch, the maximum package was 3 lakhs per year. CTS and Wipro are the mass recruiters and they come at the ZERO slot. More companies come, like IGate, Syntel and many more. There are no internships from the college, I guess. ...

The faculty is good. They are very supportive in the need of any guidance. The college organizes various cultural, educational events, and seminars which really help us to grow ourselves for the industries. The placement is decent as the training and placement cell constantly tries to give us better placements.
