A deep dive into G Pullareddy Engineering College.
Placements: 75% of students are placed in my course. 30 LPA was the highest package, 4 LPA was the lowest, and the average is 6 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. 95% of students got internships in TCS, Infosys, and Accenture. Roles offered include Software Engineers, Developers, Full-stack Developers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Cloud Computing Specialists, DevOps Engineers, and Python Developers.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped laboratories for different departments (ECE, CSE, CIVIL, MECH, EEE), digital classrooms with projectors in each class, Wi-Fi-enabled campus with good network connectivity, extensive library with a good collection of books, separate departmental laboratories with modern equipment. Separate hostels for boys and girls, clean and secure living spaces, 24/7 Wi-Fi availability for hostelers, friendly wardens. The annual hostel fee is around ₹90,000. Vegetarian food is served in the mess. Spread across 28 acres. Sports facilities include: badminton court, basketball court, cricket ground, and football ground. Medical facilities are available in the campus clinic. Cafeteria and canteen with good food quality. ATM and banking services, courier service, and bookstore for textbooks and stationery.
Faculty: Faculty members at my college are highly qualified, with most holding Ph.D. and M.Tech degrees from reputable institutions. The teaching quality is rated around 7/10, indicating good quality. Collaboration with TCS for curriculum design. Integration of MOOC courses like NPTEL, Coursera, and EdX. Use of innovative learning platforms like Google Classroom and EBox. Entrepreneurship Development Cell to promote innovation. Co-curricular activities to enhance problem-solving and professional skills. The standard of instruction is good.
Other: IEI Students' Chapters for technical seminars, Bhuvana Vijayam (literary and cultural association), Center for Awareness & Discussion, Vivekananda Study Circle, Art of Living Forum, Training & Placement Club, Innovation Club. Active participation in technical competitions, national-level events like JIGNASA Technical Fest, multiple technical and cultural events throughout the year. Placements: In Pull Reddy Engineering College, the students are placed in our course with a good percentage. The highest package is 6.5 LPA, and the average package offered in our college is 4 LPA, with a minimum of 3 LPA. Students who got internships got good placements in companies like TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: In Pull Reddy, the boys' hostel is near the main campus, and the facilities and infrastructure available for the course include Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and the quality of the facilities in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are good, and the sports facilities are also good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, skilled, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality for undergraduate students is good, but the semester exams are difficult. The good percentage in our college is 6.5 CGPA, and the faculty prepares students for better industry opportunities.

Less campus life, more academics.
Placements: I would say it's the best college for placement, but in Rayalaseema region, it's one of the best. In initial placement grounds, nearly 20 to 30% are placed, and women get more placement opportunities. There are separate placements for core branches. Many MNCs visit the college, like Accenture, CTS, LTMindtree, Infosys, and startups tend to give good packages. As we have a mandatory offline internship rule this year, the college provided opportunities for cracking internships, where nearly 40 to 50% of students got direct internship opportunities in college, and people who got placed will also get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Everything is just like a typical college. Wi-Fi only works in labs; personal gadgets will not get good Wi-Fi speed, but some labs have ethernet connections. Don't expect too much, all facilities are okay, and the library is good. College hostel provides good facilities, but no chicken or eggs in the menu. The food is good, better than many outside hostels.
Faculty: Faculty are okay-ish, again don't expect too much. The curriculum is a bit tight, and the only best thing in college I agree with is that they don't compromise in the aspect of study, and exams are conducted very strictly. No chance for cheating, and the college has clubs you can be part of, which are great but get less funding from the college.
Other: If you are a student looking for a college just for studying, it is an excellent choice. Don't expect a great campus life; events do happen in college, but compared to academics, they are ignored. However, the college has many clubs you can be part of, which is a great experience. Again, if you are looking for a great campus life, it is not for you.

Very experienced faculty, good placements in college, campus life is amazing.
Placements: About 75% of students get placement, apart from those in recession. The highest package is 30 LPA, the lowest package is 2-4 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Companies like IBM, TCS, Zelis, Value Labs, and Infosys recruit students. 90% of students got internships either online or offline at companies like Slashmark, YBI, AICTE, TCS, Zelis, etc. Roles like software engineer, application developer, full stack developer, analyst trainee, etc. are offered.
Infrastructure: The college is free-Wi-Fi enabled; there is an advanced library with many books; there are many digital classrooms with Wi-Fi; an e-techno; and labs with many advanced equipment and tools. The hostel is not so good. It has severe water problems; there is no canteen in the hostel; the food is not of good quality; and they provide some tables if we are sick.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and experienced, and they explain very clearly. In classrooms, they explain theoretically, practically, and with examples to students. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. The difficulty level for semester exams is moderate, and the pass percentage is 70%.

If you belong to OC or EWS you can't get a CSE seat in GPRE college. If you have a reservation you can get it and you are applicable for the fee reimbursement program. 2019 last rank for CSE in GPRE for OC boys is 12316, for OC girls is 15771, for BC-A boys is 22519, and so on like that.
