B.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2016
Offered by G.S. Mandal's Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT, Aurangabad)

My college was average. There is less placement opportunities provided by institute.
Placements: I am Bhagyashri lone. I had completed my graduation with from MIT, aurangabad in 2016. I have got degree of electronics and communication engineering. 20%-30% of student placed after graduation. Junior engineer role was offered by companies which were ready to provide upto 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: MIT college of engineering is most reputed college of aurangabad city. They have student from different rural areas. For them college have good facilities like hostel, mess, play ground, study room, TV room and canteen. College infrastructure is also in good condition. Well maintain Labs and Library improve quality of college.
Faculty: All teachers had good knowledge of all courses. The quality of education was good and practical knowledge provided by the teacher by using real time applications. To be honest syllabus contain to much history rather than future demand which make student lacking in competitions.
Other: I have interested in new technology. That's why I had choose that course.

Completely not satisfied with the college facilities.
Placements: The college do not provide any kind of placement but it support to do an internship during summer vacations. The college sends the students to other nearby colleges for open campus drives. I wanted to tell you that, there are no campus placements in our college since 2 years. The college either provides reference letters for an internship, or you have to use your contacts for the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well and good. The classrooms don't have Wi-Fi facility, but the college campus has Wi-Fi facility. There is no sports ground. The labs are good. Seating arrangement in the classrooms is not proper. The library is opened only during college hours as no such provision for the student to sit in the library after college to study.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful. Regarding me, some staff members of electronic and telecommunication engineering department are really helpful. But the staff members from other departments will not help even it is their responsibility to clarify our doubts. Most of the faculty teches on board.
Other: Each department has it's own seminar hall for the departmental programme.

Knowledge provider & fun to learn.
Placements: On campus placements are very rare. It happens once in 2-3 years, students wait for big companies like TCS, IBM but rarely any such companies come here for campus drives. Only students of CS department have some benefits of campus placements. Mechanical & civil students don't even have any sort of chance to sit for campus drives.
Infrastructure: Infra is comparatively better. There is provision of conference rooms, auditorium. Labs have all the required equipments for practicals. College has good canteen & sports ground also. There is provision of projectors in most of the classrooms making it better for students as well as teachers.
Faculty: Faculty in MIT is of top quality. Most of the teachers are very technically sound and helpful. They make sure that they provide sufficient knowledge regarding their respective subjects. Course curriculum covers most of the topics related to that subject.
Other: Overall it is a nice college. Only problem is students don't get enough opportunities in on campus drives.

Dissatisfied because of the placements.
Placements: The placements were not good enough. Only a few students got placements by the on-campus interview, its percentage is about 4-5% only. It is happening because the students don't have that much knowledge due to lack of quality education. Most of my friends including me didn't get any job.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. But, most of the instruments in labs are not working or damaged that's why students are facing problems while performing practices. There is no Wi-Fi in college. There is a lack of a number of books in the library. The students face problems during examination because of non-availability of books. According to quality, food in the canteen is expensive.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not that much helpful. They don't understand what students need and what problems they are facing. Some teachers are extraordinarily good with good teaching methods. The student-faculty ratio is also good.
Other: The campus of the college is neat and clean with greenery. But, it is not that much big. Every year, there are many events and extracurricular activities performed.

Better environment when compared to other army institutes.
Placements: Good placements only for those who did hard work and are efficient.
Infosys, Tata communications, Godrej, Videocon, Siemens, etc. hired the students.
Out of 150 students, 80-90 get placed and others went for PG.
100% students got internship in top MNCs like Tata, Infosys, DRDO, ISRO etc.
70% of the students get placement opportunity during the internship.
Good support from the institute for approaching the industry.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, digital classrooms, hygienic canteens, etc. are available. The college has the biggest canteen in Aurangabad division.
Highly trained security staff managed by ex-army officers.
Full water supply 24/7 and lift facility in each building. R&DE departments are available to do research on projects or to work on it rather than visiting any other city centers.
Faculty: I got the best guides during my curriculum.
I met such honest people who are really very loyal to their work. They are very knowledgeable.
Under the guidance of such great personalities, I have learned many strategic things which will definitely be fruitful in my future where ever I go.
