I recommend students to take admission to this college.
Placements: Our college provides good placements with good salary packages. Around 80% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package is 4.5 LPA. All the students got internships in the best companies like Wipro, TCS, and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Our college is good to study in. It has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a central library. Our college has good hostels for students to stay in. There are different departments with the best professors for all the courses. Our college provides the best sports facilities like cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the best and well-qualified with the best degrees. Semester exams are conducted strictly in our college. The passing CGPA is 8.5.
Other: I chose this course as it offers placements in the software and hardware sectors. I chose this college because it provides many facilities and a better education system.

Our college provides good teachers, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: In our department, less than 5% of students got placed in different companies. The placement record of this college is good. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Hexaware, Zieta Technologies, Intellipaat, etc. Almost 10-20% of students got internships based on their skills. Top roles offered are electronic engineer and network communication engineer. Placements are not good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. Wi-Fi is available on our campus and hostel. Medical facilities are provided in our college. The food served in the canteen is average. A gym facility is also available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are also well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant to make us ready for the industry. There are eight semesters in 4 years, and the passing criteria are 6.5 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. This course has a huge demand in the world. It makes us intelligent and makes us ready for future challenges. Through this course, we can learn how to connect with the real world. Every year, our college conducts a freshers' party. Annual sports and annual functions are organised in this college.

My college was good. Each and every moment was memorable .
Placements: In my batch, 50% of students got placed as it was the COVID pandemic time, so not many placements were coming. I got placed in HCL Technologies in the package of 4 LPA in the Noida location. Our college didn't provide any internships for the students. They had to do it by themselves.
Infrastructure: In the college, the labs are updated, and the equipment is very good. Classrooms are very big in size. The canteen food is very tasty. But the hostel food is not as good as compared to outer canteen food. Inside the campus there is a huge playground, a badminton space, and a basketball space also.
Faculty: Yes, of course, maximum teachers are highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees and have high experience, but some faculty members do not have much knowledge, and they are not cooperative at all and do only politics. The exams were very strict. If you will not study, you will have backlogs.
Other: I chose the Electronics and Communication Engineering course as my major degree and the Computer Science Engineering course for my minor degree.

GIET Bhubaneswar. Read this before you decide to join!
Placements: Placements were overall good. About 85% students got placed. But the packages were average, maximum package was around 2.5 LPA CTC. College showed higher packages to students whereas it was actually very less in the official call letter. In my case college sent me a mail stating that my CTC would be 2.8 LPA but when I got my call letter, it was only 2.1 LPA CTC. Moreover the t&p dept takes extra money from students for placing them. I got selected in 2 companies and now college is demanding money equivalent to my 2 months salary (they won't provide any receipt for it) to release my degree certificates.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is overall good. Good classrooms and good hostels. Hostels are well amenited with beds, racks and toilets. Girls hostel has separate mesh. TV and water machine is there in the mesh. But there is no privacy in girls hostel. The head incharge (male) visits the hostel rooms anytime he wants without any prior notice.
Faculty: Faculty keeps on changing though they are good and capable enough. Each dept has some really good and experienced faculty members. Though CSE, Civil and Mechanical are the best streams in terms of faculty members. Teachers are very helpful. Surat Panda (prof, ECE) is one of the best teachers in the college.
Other: Annual functions are a 2 days event that occur every year.

Giet is best for technology and placements.
Placements: I placed in Qualitas Global as a game tester with package of 1.5 Lacs. After attending 17 campus, finally I placed in a good company at Pune. My company gives salary in time. My company CEO is my mention. He guides me well. My company also provides bonus facility.
Infrastructure: My college is fully Wi-Fi with high-speed internet, Labs are well maintained, classrooms are clean. My college also provide fooding with hostel rooms. My college also provide sports facility once or twice in a year. Our hostel are also Wi-Fi with clean surroundings.
Faculty: Our faculty are good as compared to others. Theh are highly qualified and have more knowledge. Our college provide many courses like Diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech. Our teaching method is nice as compared to other colleges. Our students to faculty ratio is 9 out of 10.
