Placements: University of Delhi was best for placement purposes. This university offered the best placement opportunities for the students. The highest package of this university was 70 LPA. The lowest package was 15 LPA. Many companies like HCL, Infosys, and Microsoft visited this university for placement purposes. At least 69% was required for placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this course was good for the students. This university provided all-time Wi-Fi. The classrooms were fully air-conditioned. This university also had a big library where students learned together, including novels and books. The quality of the hostel was also very good for the students. The food in the mess hall and the canteen was good.

My course offers opportunities in NGOs, research institutions, and political consultancy. The best package in 2024 is 23 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies that participate in Gargi College’s placement drives include EY, GDS, KPMG India, Deloitte India, S&P Global, Accenture, and Wipro.

Infrastructure: Gargi's infrastructure is top-notch. It offers a vibrant and lush green college space. There are a total of 5 blocks. The college has an auditorium, seminar halls, a big library, an affordable canteen, Nescafe, and Mother Dairy offering nutritious diet. The college also has many science labs and computer labs. Medical facilities are present. The sports activities and extracurriculars are extremely active.

Placements: Gargi doesn't offer placement for courses other than B.Com., so once you get the degree, it is quite difficult to get placed. Although having a good GPA can make it easier to receive good job offers, you will need to actively search for opportunities rather than rely on campus placements.

Infrastructure: Gargi has excellent infrastructure. The campus is green and clean, featuring a great library and well-equipped labs. While there is no hostel facility on campus, multiple PGs are available nearby. A new building just opened, offering spacious facilities. The canteen could improve hygiene and food quality, but it does have options like Mother Dairy and Nescafe.

Faculty: The faculty at Gargi, especially in the English and Political Science departments, are truly good. They make a strong effort to teach holistically and focus on overall development. Since the implementation of NEP, the course curriculum has undergone some changes, and it will take some time to finalize the most relevant curriculum for future planning.

Other: The crowd at Gargi is diverse and you can have an amazing campus life surrounded by the red walls. Gargi is mainly known for its societies - Enliven, Kshithij, and White Rose Club. They conduct many extracurricular activities. The college needs a hostel.

It is a great college with the best faculty members.

Placements: I am currently studying at Gargi College. If students are looking for placements right after college based on their chosen degree, i.e., English + German, then they may have low chances of being selected anywhere. I suggest students pursue a master's in any specific field of their liking. Mostly, seniors having degrees in the same field are pursuing master's degrees and preparing for exams like UPSC or Net JRF. I would like to add German and English can help us move abroad for our future studies.

Infrastructure: I suggest students keep their expectations very low since it is a government college and it is nothing like a fancy private university. It has a huge field though. The library is very old-fashioned, but we can definitely find books that we want to read. There is a huge drawback in our college that we will not get a fine Wi-Fi connection anywhere and the Jio sim does not work. Even in the library, there is no internet so it is hard for one to study in the library's study hall from YouTube. Labs are great in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers we get in Gargi can help us grow in such a beautiful way because we get to learn so much from them. I really have a great experience with the faculty members in Gargi. The course curriculum is relevant. We get to learn so much by having degrees in English major and German minor, which help us shape a greater version of ourselves who is ready to step into a world with powerful knowledge. Exams are moderate to high in difficult levels. 4 CGPA is the passing point that we need to get.

Other: I chose this course because of my love for English literature and my interest in learning new languages. Also, I am planning and preparing myself for my master's in German. Gargi has only one professor to teach German over the semesters, and she is the sweetest professor of ours but I would like this to change. Gargi has one of the best societies in overall Delhi University campuses. We would get to learn so much from there. Everything like fests, connectivity, and the campus surroundings are great and top-notch.

A good match for your course and talent.

Placements: You're currently studying at Gargi College, pursuing Economics as a major. I don't know much about placements but it's good that our alumni got into JP Morgan. The highest placement package in the economics department has been reported as 23.05 LPA in recent years.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good compared to other colleges. While washroom conditions in most colleges are not good, don't worry here the washrooms are very clean, with handwash available on every floor. However, Wi-Fi here is problematic. If you use Jio or any other network than Airtel, you're gonna be annoyed by that.

Faculty: Teachers here are qualified and very knowledgeable. They make you comfortable enough to share any problems and are willing to provide solutions. However, the environment is never completely positive, as some teachers may not be very nice, though these are very few. Semester exams are not that hard. It's just that we, as students, don't study in-depth. Otherwise, they are easy or can be average. But don't solely depend on what teachers make you study, as some may teach you like school. You need to rely on other sources.

Other: I chose this course because I'm from a humanities background and wanted to do something valuable in my career, so I chose Economics as my major for further exams like CAT. The fests here are very good and have high security. One-hour events are held on extracurricular activity day, which is Tuesday, so you don't have to skip your classes for that. Many competitions are organized with exciting prizes that not only showcase your talent but also boost your confidence and help you make connections. An internship fair is held for internships.

Yes the Gargi college allow to pursue B.A.Economics Hons without maths in class 12th many of the University doesn't allow the B.A. Economics without maths but the Gargi college allow it without mathematics in class 12th so if any students is pass 12th class without mathematics then they are eligible
