Gargi- a safe home for all.
Placements: Companies like the big 4 also visit the college every year and massively recruit. Recruitment is mainly done for commerce background students, but many companies also hire students from arts backgrounds. The average package offered is 4 LPA and mostly students with above 7 GPAs secure the placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure could definitely be worked upon. There are no ACs in most classrooms and the washrooms could be improved. Recently, a new building has been inaugurated so which looks very promising. Most Delhi university colleges lack infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available in the library and certain departments.
Faculty: The faculty is very qualified. All the professors are very understanding. Exams are conducted every 45 months and regular class assessment and internal assessment are done. The course is quite good and covers various aspects through its many papers.

The life at Gargi college.
Placements: My course is B.A. Hons. Political Science. The cutoff for my college is usually quite high. Most of the students have achieved 720 or 800 in there CUET exam. Many students opt for UPSC exams but you can also opt for a teaching post at the same university. We even had a teacher who completed her graduation from Gargi and is now a teacher at the same college.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is fine. It's neither that big nor that small. We have all the basic necessities, such as a decent cafeteria, library, and basketball court. Unfortunately, our college does not provide any hostels. You will have to live in a PG.
Faculty: The faculty is top-notch. Our teachers are the graduates of very respectable universities such as DU itself, JNU, etc. The staff is amazing and the way they teach is amazing as well. The semester exams are taken by the university itself and is usually not that hard but okay.
Other: I was very interested in this subject so I naturally opted for it. I would love it if our IA and CA grading were done better. The fest is good. Since Gargi is a women's college, no males are allowed in the fest and honestly, it makes our fest more free, enjoyable and fun.

Talking about life in Kamla Nehru College.
Placements: There are no placements in this course. Most of the students of this department are planning for government jobs like- UPSC, state PCS, law, or academic fields.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, it is quite good. Facilities are also very nice. Our college provides Wi-Fi. The library is very nice. It contains a lot of books and journals from every department. Our college doesn't provide a hostel facility, so you have to take PGs or flats.
Faculty: Faculty members of the political science department are very good. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is top-notch. One of the teachers of political theory teaches us so well. I love her teaching style. Talking about semester exams, you have to attempt 5 questions out of 10. Each question carries 18 marks. So if you study well, you can get good marks. The passing percentage is around 30%.
Other: I'm doing political science honors, and I like this subject. The best thing about this course is that you can get a vast knowledge of everything happening around you in day-to-day life. You can learn deep knowledge about various theories and concepts. This course can also help you a lot if you are planning to prepare for civil service exams. College societies and departments usually initiated different events, competitions, extracurricular activities, and fests. This can help in developing our overall personality.

The college has good faculty but bad administration.
Placements: The placements in Gargi are generally good, as it falls under one of the top colleges of DU, and many respectable organizations come to hire. Although, the placements for the political science department are limited, as opportunities are less in comparison. Most of the students go for internships in unrelated fields, which is disappointing since they don't get exposure to their field, which is also not completely the college's fault since it's hard to find a job for political science students in India at the undergrad level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is actually poor. The college is undermaintained, and the classrooms are way too small. There is no AC. The library doesn't have an AC or a comfortable space to sit and study, which is very concerning. The infrastructure needs a lot of improvement in a college as reputed as Gargi.
Faculty: The faculty in Gargi are good. Professors are friendly and willing to help students even outside the classroom. They maintain a professional code of conduct and are understanding and empathetic to the problems faced by the students. The curriculum is well structured, especially keeping the civil service exam in mind.

Average infrastructure with excellent teachers.
Placements: Good placements are offered in reputed firms and think tanks of the government. Unpaid as well as stipend internships too offered help in gaining experience. Reputed and well-established firms offer job opportunities. The Alumni are well placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good, with poor sanitation, and the internet quality is very poor. Although the quality of food over here in the canteen is nice. The water cooler doesn't provide potable water and the washrooms here are in a very bad state. But our college does have a huge ground for sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are proficient in their disciplines with the zest to establish a learning environment in the classrooms. The semester exams are tough to be passed especially in the Arts department where students struggle to get a higher Credit score.
Other: The crowd is not so good as compared to other DU colleges.
