I'm disappointed with the class routine. Go for better options.
Placements: Placement opportunities are good, basically depending on the course. There are ample opportunities for internships and extracurricular activities, with many ads shared through WhatsApp groups, and interested students can join from there. I don't have much idea about placements, but I have heard that the placement is good in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but not very good. Campus is clean, but its design is so confusing, that it takes a while to find class. Sports infrastructure is also very bad, and sports facilities are also not good. They don't have a badminton court or indoor court for indoor games. There's just one cricket ground and tennis court, which is of no use since they don't take many students into teams. They don't inform students about upcoming competitions and tournaments as they don't want to take new students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. I would say some are good, and some are not. Apart from good, they all are strict. We shall not miss our school, because the environment in this college is just like school. Some teachers are very rude, and will treat you like a school student by giving homework, and would not give you attendance if we are late to the class.
Other: Crowd is mostly filled with girls with high attitude. Even though, it’s a girls’ college, it is very difficult to make genuine friends.

About Gargi College.
Placements: The placement options at this college could be better but they were not the best at my time. Some students did get placed in well known companies, but good jobs were not in ample number. The college did invite many companies for placements. Students had to put in extra efforts.
Infrastructure: The college had old infra and facilities including classes, library and hostel. The quality of facilities in the hostel were fine overall. Food was available in the hostel and the canteen. Medical facilities were available. Sports and games were organized too.
Faculty: The faculty were kind of mix. Some were good and some were not. They were helpful and qualified but were not always willing to help us. The teaching quality was okay. The course was curriculum relevant but the students did not become ready for the industry.

The teachers are very helpful and supportive. The exams difficulty is moderate.
Placements: The college placements are very good for my course. The average package is around INR 5 lakh. The college offers good, decent, or average placements. The placement rate is good. A lot of companies come for hiring. Some of them are Deloitte, Wipro, EY, GDS, KPMG India, Evalueserve, and S&P.
Infrastructure: The college has really good infrastructure. However, the office staff can be improved. There is no hostel at the college. The security is average. The food is fine and there are a variety of options for the food. The medical staff could be improved .
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive. The teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching qualities are good too. The exams are moderately average. The passing percentage is 40% in the practical and 40% in the written exam .

Gargi- a safe home for all.
Placements: Companies like the big 4 also visit the college every year and massively recruit. Recruitment is mainly done for commerce background students, but many companies also hire students from arts backgrounds. The average package offered is 4 LPA and mostly students with above 7 GPAs secure the placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure could definitely be worked upon. There are no ACs in most classrooms and the washrooms could be improved. Recently, a new building has been inaugurated so which looks very promising. Most Delhi university colleges lack infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available in the library and certain departments.
Faculty: The faculty is very qualified. All the professors are very understanding. Exams are conducted every 45 months and regular class assessment and internal assessment are done. The course is quite good and covers various aspects through its many papers.

Best crowd and teachers.
Placements: Being a student of the B.A. program (Political Science + Economics), I know that arts courses don't give you placement directly, but pursuing a 4-year degree in my course with economics as a major will provide me with an economics multidisciplinary honors degree, which can help grab me placement with an average of 6 LPA. If you are keen on getting placements through arts courses, one needs to do PG for it.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are in good condition. With the Siri Fort beside us, we have network problems due to jammers, which cause problems in connection. Food in the canteen is good and edible and now more hygienic. Sports department is actually very good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, even considerate in assignments and tests. This course is relevant if someone is not from a math background and still wants to do eco-hons; it is best. Semester exams are easier to do and easily passable.
Other: This course helps me attain knowledge of 2 subjects: political and eco with language subjects. I will try to improve to have fewer assignments. There should be no extra subjects like value-added courses and skill development courses. Even language subjects should have a pros section rather than actual things. Events, fests, and crowds are actually very good. It is the survival kit. People here are not mean, not arrogant, but helpful in one way or another. There are societies, conferences, and many other activities.

Pehle istemaal kare, phir vishwas kare.
Placements: No recruiting companies for my course, students applied for off campus internship, no career guidance as such. I don't really know what to say, nothing is there in terms of placement. At gargi, they prepare you for real world problems like dealing with people and politics .
Infrastructure: Library was miniature compared to the college strength. Most of the times we SAT on floors Canteen was the best thing about Gargi! Good food at reasonable rates! However they can expand their menu. I loved Nescafe with all my soul! Had the best hangout there!
Faculty: Mostly teachers were helpful, there are exceptions particularly the one who taught us Neuroscience. Semester exams were hectic! But we managed it! DU taught me smart work. The course curriculum was good, detailed and informative however it did not make us industry ready. I feel they could improve their lab facilities and lay more emphasis on practical knowledge instead of rot learning.
