Life at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College is almost having a successful career.

Placements: The placements are really good. Many MNCs visited the campus drives like TCS, Wipro, Hyundai, Mobis, Amazon, Veda IIT, Medha Servo drives and many more core companies. Around 80% students are placed. The highest package offered till now is Rs. 16 lakhs per annum and it is offered by Amazon.

I'm satisfied with the faculty, but absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure provided in it.

Placements: At the most, 60% of the students will be placed every year of which TCS will have the most number. The highest package that our students got till date is Rs. 16 lakhs per annum in Amazon and the lowest was around Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. A number of companies like the TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon, etc., recruit from the college. The internships are also very low in the college.

Not a place if you want to enjoy engineering life but certainly best if you consider placements.

Placements: Placement is good. TCS will take the major share of students every year followed by Wipro. Companies like Verizon, Mind Tree, Tech Mahindra will together take 15 to 20 students. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA with the lowest being 3 LPA and the highest being 6 LPA.

The college is good for the student's career apart from the infrastructure.

Placements: The students with above 75% get a chance to appear for the placement programme. About 30% of the students got placed from the college but only in a single company which is well-known. A few other companies visit us, but they take a dozen of them or less. Mostly everone of them get the same salary package, i.e., 3.8 LPA(29K per month). Every time, TCS visits the campus, but for sometimes Hyundai Mobis, Cognizant visit. Everyone, who placed in TCS are offered a software job. Everyone in the colleg...

Good placements and satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: Placements of the college are good. All the students get a chance to participate in the placements. Our college placements community work a lot for us. Many reputed companies like Wipro, Amazon, TCS, and much more visit our campus for recruiting students. Students are given roles based on their performances in the recruitment.

My View for pursuing B.Tech at GVP in mechanical.

Placements: The placements are mostly for software companies, TCS and Wipro. Few core companies like Coromandel, Hyundai, Vedha and IIT also visit the campus. Around 60+ get placed. Just having the bare minimum IQ keeps yourself in a specific spot of getting placed. No worries about that.

Good placements and environment

Placements: Placements are really good. You have 50 percent chances of getting placed. If you a good learner then your chances of being getting placed is 80 percent. TCS is a major recruiter for our college since the past few years. Even in hard times, the college placements cell pushes TCS to take more students which is very positive.

If you wish to get placement in a software company, go for GVPCE.

Placements: The placements in the software field are good. In spite of the recession the percentage of students recruited in software companies in our batch is quite high. The day one company recruits bulk in number. The core companies of mechanical engineering that visit are less, and even the number of candidates they select is quite low.

Highly satisfied with the kind of placements in 2017. Just a few things one needs to compromise with

Placements: The placements were quite good. In fact, at this point of time, with very limited placements, GVP could place almost 500 of its students in different organisations, which is a huge number. The average package given is 3.25 LPA and the highest is 5.5 or 6 LPA. The least is 3 LPA.

The college gives you back if you are eligible.

Placements: If you have a good percentage and talent, you would be placed in some good core companies. If you are good in your first year and with no backlog, you have more than 90 percent chances to be placed in an IT company. If you are talented in software then you will get some of the top companies like Amazon, TCS Research Group, etc.

Placements: The number of students who got placed on the campus is comparatively good. 373 members were placed in this year. 50% of students were placed. The highest salary is 29 lakhs per annum, the least is 1.3 lakhs per annum and the average salary is 3 lakhs per annum. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Veda IIT, Hyundai, Gibon, etc. visited. 20% of students got the internship.

About Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering

Placements: One of the good colleges according to placements. Many companies like TCS and Wipro visited and took most of the students. Most of them are placed up to now. 401 students are placed in TCS. There are many companies which are yet to visit. There is not much difference between our seniors and us in placements.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure, the curriculum and the placements provided by the college.

Placements: The college provided some good placements for mine and the senior's batch. 80% students got placements in the top companies. Top MNCs visited the college and hired a maximum number of the students. During the third year, many students did their internships at some core companies like Vizag Steel Plant, NTPC, etc.

A good college for studies, and it is a peaceful place.

Placements: The placements were fine, not too bad but its decent in number and it kept on increasing. Our senior batch got good placements, and we got more placements than seniors. 70% of the students got placed in our batch. The highest CTC offered was 4.5 LPA, the lowest CTC offered was 2.5 LPA. Verizon, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Hyundai, Mphasis, IBM, and Sankalp Semiconductors are the companies that visited our college and the roles offered were Junior trainee, developers etc. 90% of the students got i...

During our time we had good placements, and a bit dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: From a software point of view, the placement opportunities are good. When it comes to core jobs, I can say there are fewer chances. But if you want to join software, I would recommend this college. There are good sessions in the college for the students on how to crack interviews, and the college needs to improve on core side.

I am satisfied to learn in this college. Good subject knowledge is provided by the good faculty.

Placements: Excellent placements are provided for those who opted for electronics and communication engineering and computer science engineering. There a little fewer opportunities for the remaining branches. This college is the best option for those who are interested in settling in software field.

Good placements in 2015, the infrastructure needs to be upgraded.

Placements: The placements conducted by the college were good. In our 2011-2015 batch, a total of around 450 students got selected in the campus placements out of 1200. Top software MNCs like TCS, Wipro and MindTree have visited the campus. Irrespective of the branch, the students get their specializations. Everyone got an offer as a software engineer. When coming to the internships, we didn't get many good offers. Not a single penny was offered as the stipend.
