This is a good college.
Placements: A good number of students are getting placed in our university. Compared to the previous two years, this year the hiring percentage is good. Final-year students are having placement training sessions at the college, and the university is giving good opportunities to students.
Infrastructure: In our university, there are level 1 classes, and there are digital projectors and AC. We also have a VDC for students who are interested in their own startup ideas, and there are faculty to give guidance for their startup ideas. The GITAM University hostel also has good Wi-Fi connections, and the rooms are clean.
Faculty: The faculty are very good, and they are helping students to get placed. They are giving important interview questions while teaching to help the students. However, the exams this year are a bit difficult because the management is starting to take care of student knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because of the thought of the growth of the internet, and I feel that many people don't know about IoT. But I guess it also has good importance for placements. There are fests and many events which have been conducted, and we can improve our connections by doing activities.

I would not recommend this college for middle-class students.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placements. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels and their rooms are very old. They are charging much for hostels. They are very far from the city. The metro is not available. There are very strict rules.
Faculty: Teachers are not very good. They just teach. They don't explain the topic. They are not highly qualified.
Other: If students want just a degree, they can join this college.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 70% of the students were placed. The highest package was 42,00,000 LPA, and the lowest was 4,00,000 LPA. Some of the companies that recruited were Oracle, Amazon, and HSBC. Approximately 85% of the students secured internships through platforms like LinkedIn and Internshala. Most of the students got software development, web development, and software jobs.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure and facilities are good. WiFi connectivity is available throughout the college and hostel, but the network is slow. The classrooms and library are good. The labs are okay, and the staff teaches the experiments very well. The medical facilities are nice, and someone is available 24/7 to solve problems. The hostels are well-maintained, and the rooms are clean. The food is unlimited, but the taste is not up to par with the rate. Overall, all the facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, but it's difficult to judge their qualifications. If they don't have the necessary knowledge, they wouldn't have been selected to teach at the college. The quality of education is average, but the teachers should have a good understanding of the material they are teaching. The difficulty of the coursework varies from person to person depending on their level of preparation. The pass percentage is only 28%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study it. I wasn't forced to take it. It was my own decision. The events that are done here are not as good as those at other colleges.

Comprehensive learning experience with strong faculty support and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 15 lacs, the lowest package is 2.5 lacs, and the average package is 5 lacs offered in our course. TCS and Bosch companies recruit for our course.
90 percent of students got internships from our course. HR is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: The department offers high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the campus, ensuring students have seamless internet connectivity for research, assessment, and online resources. There are well-equipped laboratories with modern equipment and tools that support practical learning and searching.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, often holding advanced degrees and having substantial experience in their respective fields. The teaching methods are a blend of traditional lectures and modern approaches, such as interactive sessions and case studies.
Other: I was part of the 2023-27 batch for the CSE, which is focused on Data Science. The batch comprises a diverse group of students from various backgrounds.

Honest feeling about my experience.
Placements: The number of students getting placed is average, probably due to the current shortage in the software field. The highest package I've heard of is 25 LPA, but I have no idea what the lowest is. Companies like Accenture, Oracle, Mu Sigma, and TCS visit for recruitment. The roles they offer are data analyst, debugger, and so on.
Infrastructure: We have free access to the library and the internet, which is essential these days. Most of our assignments and internals are done online. I don't stay in the college hostel, but my friends who do say that the facilities are very good.
Faculty: I didn't feel any difficulties in my course since I regularly attend the classes and concentrate very well in the class. Exams are actually dependent upon the students themselves since we need to understand the concepts. If we understand, exams are easy.
Other: I was very interested in computers, which is what brought me to this course. The best thing about the course is that I fell in love with coding. However, I wish the labs were more frequent. Scholarships are provided by the government, but the amount varies depending on the student's caste. For example, SC/ST students get around Rs 80,000, while other candidates get only Rs 22,700.
