The best university in Vishakapatnam.

Placements: Get the placements opportunities based on your capabilities and with a good package, and some companies will offer you a job even if you have a maximum of two backlogs and they select in bulk. The highest packages offered to be more than 2 crore per annum and the placement team of the college also help you during the placement and every time you go them and tell us about the companies available to us.

Satisfied with teaching and infrastructure, but games are given less priority.

Placements: Above 70% of the students got placed. Compared to the previous years, now the placement opportunities were greatly increased in our campus. Our college is well known for its placements. The minimum salary offered to the students was 3.3l LPA and the highest offered was more than 10 LPA. TCS and Accenture are MOU partners. Maruthi Suzuki visits our campus every year for placements. There are many other companies like Microsoft, NCR, Electronics, Futures first, Fiat and lot more companies visited ...

Definitely I'm satisfied because of my faculty and the placements provided by our college.

Placements: The packages offered in Gitam (deemed to be university) placements are huge. Largest companies like Tata, Microsoft, Amazon etc., will take the majority of students from the college. Last year, Tata consultancy services took nearly 500 members, and Accenture took nearly 300 members. The highest salary package is nearly 13 lakhs per year, and average salary package is around 3.5 lakhs per year.

GITAM University is an astonishing place to study.

Placements: The university is the hub for placements, especially for software companies. It has a placement percentage of around 97%. The companies visiting for campus placements offer high-end profiles to medium range. It also welcomes new companies for placements. The college offers CRT classes for the final year students to enhance our skills which is pretty good. Keeping this apart, for BBM and BBA students there are many international companies offering jobs to the students of Gitam University.

GITAM! A place to discover yourself with excellent infrastructure and quality education.

Placements: Last year 300 companies visited GITAM campus. There was a very good placement record of our super seniors. Coming to our seniors, companies are still visiting our campus, and until now there was a record! TCS has recruited nearly 600 students from Vishakhapatnam campus, which was also published in THE HINDU newspaper. Till date, the highest package offered to the students was 12 LPA. The average salary for the lowest placement would be around 3 LPA. In the year 2014 to 2015, there was a placemen...

They bring lots of companies to place the students. The average salary package was 4 lakhs per annum. The college will also provide intenship to the students to direct from the company.

The Gitam is good for people who wants to study.

Placements: The placements for the core will be two or three, and these are the high companies like Fiat, L&T, etc. The average salary offered is 8 lakhs per annum for the last year. The additional post will be the business analyst or the manager. The students who are placed for this will be one or two, but the last year 10 people got placed in Fiat. The career opportunities for the IT companies and for electrical and electronics engineering will be more. The Last year TCS, Accenture tech Mahindra, has take...

The college that gives us every fun, knowledge.

Placements: We had the superb placements at our campus. The companies that will come to recruit include Amazon, Deloitte, TCS and Accenture which will hire a huge volume of the students. It is such a wonderful college to provide the placement opportunities, and all the care is taken by the placement officers to train us to crack the interviews. Before every interview, they will provide the campus recruitment classes for a week and train for that particular campus which was quite helpful for the students. If...

The infrastructure, faculty and even the placements are reasonably good in this university.

Placements: Most of the students get placed in software companies, irrespective of their department of engineering. In our batch, the placement percentage has gone down. Some of the companies who came for campus recruitment are Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Mu Sigma, Aviva, Deloitte, Microsoft, Fiat, Decathlon, Coromandel, Raam Group etc. The placement training has been given by two training companies viz. Face and Universal. Apart from campus placements, students were ...

I am very much satisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: We get most of the placements in TCS- it may make up to 40 percent of the people. We get some more placements from Deloitte. Placements are good in GITAM. We have to write an exam on coding. If we do well in that exam, then we are eligible for the interview. Marks are not important, talent is important. If we have 2 to 3 backlogs also, no problem. If we have talent, they will hire us.

Joining in Gitam is good, it provides good placements opportunities to the students.

Placements: The placements play a significant role in Gitam, compared with our seniors. The placement opportunities are less to us. In Gitam, they concentrate mainly on multinational companies like TCS, Accenture, Deloitte and so on. But mostly, students will be placed in Tata Consultancy Services. If by chance, students don't get placed in TCS, then a complicated situation might occur. The average salary is about 3 lakhs per annum.

We have good faculty in our college but it is all about students' interest towards studies

Placements: Major placements are in software and hardly in core. If one wanted to be placed in a core job, he must have extraordinary skills regarding communication, etc. One thing that the college says is about 100% placement, but don't believe them. They mean that you are having a higher chance of getting placed in software jobs.
