Placements: We have quite good placements but due to lot of crowd, may be more than half of the people get the placements. And the minority are struggling to get it. Some companies give 3L per annum and range up to maybe 12L. Offering of 12L are less in number. I think the average package may be 3 LPA or 4 LPA.
Placements: Mainly placements where confined to software and people expecting core companies may get disappointed by number of companies and intakes, later batches placements in core got even the worst so if you seriously thinking of joining core please think twice.
Placements: Here college management is getting few companies like TCS, ACCENTURE, DELLOITE etc., yes who are allowed for placements are getting placed in any one of the company, most of the people get placements And get settled well but few people like civil and biotech people don't get any jobs.
Placements: Many companies come for the placements, and you have every right to choose the company you want. TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Cognizant and many other such companies also come, core companies like L&T, Maruti, Fiat also come for the placements. The best part is you have instant news from your placement officer about everything which makes preparation very easy.
Placements: Placements in computer science and electrical and communication engineering have a good record, but in mechanical and civil engineering are very few companies visits. There are fewer placements compared to IT, but in the end, they help you get it some good companies like TCS, Accenture. Overall placements are good.
Placements: Up to 50 companies have reached our campus, and almost all the students got placed. But for civil engineering, there are very few companies and low selection rate. Only 3 companies have approached according to core engineering, and in our class, just 6 members were selected.
Placements: While considering placements, GITAM acts as a popular brand. If terms were good, it would guarantee you with maximum probability, but during my time, it has downfall due to the situations like US election polls, Brexit etc. I don't have a good guess about the current situation in GITAM. I have got placed in Tech M, though I didn't receive my call letter yet (it's been 1 year that I have got placed) I don't want to blame Gitam because it's not a responsibility of our college to check whether we g...
Placements: They were fine, not everybody gets placed in gitam. They aren't major companies that come to gitam, 80% of thr companies only offer 3 Lacs packages. And there's no guarantee you will have your job, they might take you out whenever they want. So its like being on the bench, and once you get placed in one company you cannot sit for another. Mass recruiting is cool enough to publicize about the college, but I don't think its helpful for students, as they might lose their jobs any minute.
Placements: Had provided no branch based placements to us or even to B.Tech students. Only software companies are show to them and even to us (where we are doing specialisation in structural engineering). Finally projects done by us are faculty Ph.D. projects. Not even a single project is new or not even contemperory.
Placements: The placements are good. Most of them will be in software, though mechanical company came this year it took around 25 people of all the sections. Overall, there will be continues placements if it gets started. Some companies recruited this year is more than the previous year. Every one should attend internship.
Placements: The companies that visit the campus for placements are just okay. Previously, most of the companies used to visit the campus, but now, the count of companies visiting the campus is gradually decreasing. Most of the companies offer a salary package of around 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Only one or two companies offer a salary package of more than 5 LPA, but CGPA of a student should be more than 9, and they hire only one or two students, and not more than 5. So, most of the students got placed with a s...
Placements: The placements here are very good. If the students perform well, on an average, they will get definite placements. The placement and training cell is very dedicated and trains you very well. Gitam has a track record of placing the maximum students in a good company.
Placements: The placements were amazing. We had Deloitte, Sirius, Accenture, Oracle, TCS, Microsoft, MuSigma, Fiat, and many other reputed companies this year. More than half the batch of students are placed. The packages offered are excellent, and the placement cell coordinated the event amazingly.
Placements: The placements are good enough. Almost everyone without backlogs got placed. Offers from 15 LPA to 3 lpa are given. If you are looking for a secure job, then you can pick this college. The average package could be 4lpa. We don't get any internships from the college, we have to apply on our own.
Placements: The placements are very good, and in this college, we get placements around 68%. A lot of companies comes from Google and Apple too. Some other companies like Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Indian Navy also comes here for placements. Some companies have come around to give placements for 78% to 68% of the students.
Placements: For our batch, placements are good in IT field. There are only a few placements in the core field, and it is the same with the juniors also. There are only placements in the software sector and less number of placements in core sector. If you are planning to join in the core branch, think twice.
Placements: The placements are not predictable. Our seniors got a lot of placements with good packages. Even our juniors also got, but it did not happen for us. Main recruiters for us are Accenture and TCS. But don't expect good MNCs and high packages. The highest package for our batch is 6 LPA, which is offered by Microsoft.
Placements: The placements for our batch was mostly in the IT companies. Around, 70% of the students got placed in IT. No core company visited the campus for the civil engineering. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Delloid visited the campus and offered the job role of system engineer, etc., for the students.
Placements: The placements for 2016 and 2017 are good. 70-80% of students were placed. The highest package was 10 LPA, the lowest package was 3.25 LPA. Microsoft, Dell, Aveva, TCS, Accenture, etc. are the companies that visit. Service sector jobs were given priority. Internships were not given by the companies. There is a placement cell provided by the college.
Placements: Around, 90% of the students will get the placements because it is famous for the placements. In our senior batch, out of 1500 students, 1000 students got placed in good company up to now, and the placements are still going on, and I can't guess the final exact figure until the placements are over. The main companies visited the GITAM like TCS, Accenture, Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Factset, and some other companies.
