It has good infrastructure and decent placements.

Placements: The placements were good enough with respect to an individuals performance. The percentage of placements were good though. There were a lot of opportunities to get into. Most of my friends got placed who were good at studying but not bearing high CGPA. So the bottom line is the placements were purely based on talent but not on marks basis.

There is no exposure to the outer world and no support to other activities.

Placements: Our college was presently lacking with the placements. In the past, our seniors were placed for the sake of the name, but all were fake. No one has got the call letters. The students will only have to search for the internships, but for those internships, the students have to pay them to get the certificates and gain the knowledge. No one has got the internship, but the management is promising to bring good recruiters to our batch.

Good infrastructure compared to the other colleges.

Placements: 80% of my seniors were placed. They got jobs in TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. The jobs offered are based on information technology. They got the package of 3.2 lacks per annum, and they are providing more opportunities than other the colleges in Vishakhapatnam. Not only Vishakhapatnam compared to all the colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

If you want to join in GITAM, you have to know these things.

Placements: A minimum 40 companies came to the college for placements. Mainly TCS, Amazon take the maximum number of students. If you have good CGPA, good communication skills, you will definitely get the job. The candidate who is having at least 6.5 CGPA are eligible for placements. The minimum salary offered to a student is 10 thousand INR. CSE department has huge opportunities in placements. If you want to join in GITAM, your first choice should be CSE.

The college is good. The placements are good. The faculty are best.

Placements: Based on the student performance they will be selected. 70 percent students will be selected and placed. The lowest salary amount offered is Rs. 3.3 per annum. The highest salary package is based on the students, i.e., Rs. 12.2 per annum. This year, 700 members are selected. Microsoft, Accenture, TCS and many other companies have visited the campus.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management's review.

Placements: GITAM University provides placements for all the students in the eligible criteria. Many companies like Reliance, DRDO, TCS, Microsoft, ISRO will come to the university to conduct the placement drive. The percentage of students placements is higher when compared to the other colleges. The students in the university have different clubs which are in turn to increase their management skills.

The right place, if you are looking for a job after BTech.

Placements: Our college is best known for 100% placements. Various companies from various areas come to the campus. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA. The major recruiters are the IT giants such as TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro. A few people get the internships from the companies visiting the campus.

A review every one need to see about the college.

Placements: Coming to the part of the placements, the Gitam University, Vishakhapatnam has a very good number of placements when compared to other colleges. There is no 100 percent placement in our college, but nearly more than 75 percent of the students will get a placement. Only one or two backlogs will be allowed for the placements. If the students have more than 2 backlogs, then they are not allowed for the placements. Many companies come to our college starting with Deloitte, followed by Microsoft and ...

Absolutely dissapointed with the placements, but the university was awesome in all the other aspects

Placements: When compared to my senior batch, placements for our batch are very less. Almost 90% of my seniors got placed in different companies, where the highest package offered was 9 lakhs per annum by Microsoft, and the least is 3 lakhs per annum by TCS. Coming to our batch, only 65% of the students got placed, where the highest package is 5 lakhs per annum and the least is 3 lakhs per annum. Satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements have quite increased in the department of IT. Core company placements are low for mechanical, they should be increased. The students are offered placements in every field. There was no stipend offered. Forty percent of the students were placed. The placements are good on-campus.

Join the college for the location, infrastructure but the ROI is very minimal,

Placements: The placements are good for my batch. There were 100% placements to all students who passed the final examination. Most of the offered roles were IT-related. As long as you are happy with getting a job and not worried about the role then this college can be a right fit for you.

Satisfied with the college but the placements weren't so good the year we passed out.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students were placed in our batch. Assistant system engineer was the role offered. TCS was the first company to visit and it took more than 300 students. The lowest package was Rs. 3 lacs per annum in 2013. The highest was Rs. 9 lacs per annum. MindTree, Mu Sigma, and other companies also visited the college.

My view on GITAM, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: I can rate the placements as good. For our seniors, many companies like Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra and big companies like Microsoft offered placements. 15 mems were selected at 11 LPA package by Microsoft. This year, Futures First is yet to conduct the placements for 10 LPA.

Placements: For my senior batch, placements are really good. Nearly 75% of students are placed. The highest package is 16 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Deloitte, etc visited. 30% of students got internships. The stipend is 10,000 it is the same for all.

Good faculty, good placements.

Placements: In 2013, the placement percentage of the college was 78 percent. But now, the situation is completely different. Now they are giving a 100 percent placement. Many core companies, as well as software companies, come for placement and give a good pay package of around 4 lakhs per annum.

A good and clean college with nice facilities and well-established infrastructure.

Placements: The placements offered by the institute are good and the salary packages also are mean, all thanks to the TPO Officer for his special interest, care and concern towards bringing companies to the university. The placement record is also good when compared to our senior batch. Around 1000-1500 students got placed in top MNCs like Microsoft, Deloitte and Tech Mahindra.

Some points are dissatisfying but most are satisfactory.

Placements: Last year, TCS recruited 750 members with an average package of 2.5 lakhs and maximum of 6 lakhs. Many other MNCs like NTT Data, Accenture, Deloitte, Microsoft and other popular companies have recruited a great number of our super seniors. On an average, all companies are paying a minimum of 2.5 lakhs and maximum of 10-15 lakhs. The number of core companies visiting is less when compared to software. This is one demerit of our college.

I am very satisfied with what this college is giving to me.

Placements: They prepare students with domain and soft skills to meet the high expectations of the corporate world. They emphasize on practicing human values, both in action and spirit. IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) itself recruited 755 engineering students from GITAM Visakhapatnam campus. My super seniors were placed at good companies in Bangalore like Mu Sigma, Infosys and Microsoft. The highest package was about 12 lakhs and the lowest was 3 lakhs.

Placements: CSE/IT get a good number of companies. For mechanical and civil, it is the same old story. Just 10% students get placed in core companies. Most of the students are placed in software jobs, doesn't matter whatever branch it is. Some of the recurrent companies are Accenture, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Microsoft, and Deloitte.
