Placements: In our college, less than 60% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by Amazon. Students are not placed in companies that offer very low packages. There are no good placements. They highlight students who applied from outside getting placed with higher packages.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. About 80% of students got an internship with a good stipend in companies like Oracle, HP, Wipro etc.
Placements: At the time I started my B.Tech in gitam there were a kind of opportunities for civil engineering students but when the I passed out not even single company visited to the campus for civil engineers. If you are interested in software side some companies with basic amount will recruit you.
Placements: The college attained approximately 100% placements with few students opting out for further studies and few of them failing in the subjects. But the college only witnessed the placement of IT companies. TCS was the first one to visit the company that hired 550 students at one placement drive out of 650. Next company, which mass recruited was Wipro which recruited almost 120, and Accenture recruited 180. No other company hired more than 10 students. Deloitte and Mu-Sigma were the only two good co...
Placements: Mostly everyone got internships from different companies. Placements were somewhat better but not offered 100 percent as told by the faculty members when joining the college. Only 50 percent of the students were placed in placements. Only low category roles were offered to all the students. Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and Wipro came for placements.
This is the most useless college around, with a very high fee and no facilities for the students. The management is only interested in making money and to increase their brand value to open new campuses. The faculty is not up to the mark and some of them even expect downright nepotism from the students to boost their false ego.
My college is a very good and reputed college. The infrastructure is very good as well. Canteens, washrooms, classrooms and labs are well maintained. Some of the faculty are Ph.D. from India’s top institutes. You don’t get much practical knowledge in this university. The fees is very high and is not worth the education. There are many charges for every activity.
University is mixture of students of different backgrounds. Speaking of management its bad. No encouragement for extracurricular acts like sports, fests in college. Students make voluntary organizations but gets no support from management. Indeed they try to suppress student’s activities like conducting tech fests, cultural fests, they even charge from student organizations for lending college ground, auditoriums. In terms of academics you get some campus placements but knowledge is not imparted...
The college has moderate infrastructure, unqualified Faculty members and degraded syllabus like an average college but a huge fame and name. This comes from high fees that they take every year in order to pay for fake name and to negotiate with the company HRs for recruitment, later on the company throws the students within 6 months of training as most of the students really do not have that calibre due to poor studies and grading system. But in newspaper and media, it will always come about 100...
Placements: The placement record of our college was very good, but top companies recruit only less than the excepted students. The placement criteria for academically average students in GITAM is very hard. The college doesn't take care of internships as they just say the students that do internships in best places to get placed in reputed companies. The college never provides a good platform for internships to students, which is the main drawback according to internships.
