Good campus and infrastructure of GMRIT.
Placements: At GMR Institute of Technology, around 40% of students get placed in various companies. The highest salary package offered here is 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, GMR Groups, Accenture, etc. Around 10% of students get internships by their own talent. No one gets internships in big companies. The role offered to freshers is an engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel facilities are good. All campuses have Wi-Fi and LAN connections. In every classroom, a projector is there. Every lab has all materials. There is a very large block for a library. AT GMRIT, a digital library is present. Every student can access all books and the digital library. The quality of the food in hostels is good. They provide two or three types of curries, sambar, rasam, curd, etc. Every Wednesday, there is a non-vegetarian in the mess. There is a block for the canteen in GMRIT.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful. They are qualified. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. graduates. They are very knowledgeable. In the course curriculum, there are only subjects which are relevant to their branches. It does not make students ready for the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams is average.
Other: I have been interested in electronics since childhood. I want to invent new things, so I chose ECE. I can learn any subject easily due to my interest. I wish to recruit good and knowledgeable faculty at GMRIT. There are events here every year. We have a fest in January.

My views on my college.
Placements: My college provides many placements. Recently, my senior got placed in an MNC in Paris with a salary package of 45 LPA. This is the highest package. A few days my senior miss. Pramodini got a salary package of 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is nearly 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Nearly 95% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: My college is full of green trees and plants. There are two hostels one for boys and the other for girls. The college mess is very good. They maintain good food quality. The canteen is also there in my college. In my college, there is a sports arena, a football ground, and a gym. Classrooms are very good.
Faculty: Professors are very good. They do not hesitate to explain their doubts to students. The course curriculum is related to emerging trends and industry research requirements. End-semester exams are not very difficult. Many students passed in exams. I think nearly 80% of students passed.
Other: I chose artificial intelligence and data science at my college. I chose this course because nowadays it is the most popular and trending course. There is an event called Stepcone. It is the most awaited and enjoyable event. Some fests like ethnic wear, etc., are also conducted in my college.

Short review on my college.
Placements: The percentage of placement is very poor in my college. Only 50% of students are placed. The package is 7 LPA. Recruiting companies are Accenture, Infosys, etc. 80% of the students have got internships. The roles like team lead, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The environment is very good and the infrastructure is very good and well designed. The Wi-Fi and labs are very flexible. There are many sports available in my college, like football, Kho-Kho, kabaddi, weight lifting, etc. The medical facilities and canteen are available in my college.
Faculty: The teachers are somewhat qualified and knowledgeable but not very well. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is very strict. There is no time for extracurricular activities. The semesters are very tough. The question paper was very difficult. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I chose this course to explore my skills, and knowledge and to develop my learning capability, skills I need to improve, and thinking ability. There are some good events that happen, to enjoy and to improve leadership skills.

College is average, but you got good friends and memories.
Placements: Comparing the last 4 years, in 2024, placements are somewhat average. So think and join our college. CSE students got more job opportunities than other branches. Don't blindly believe our campus and come. Please take suggestions from those who have already joined.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too bad, and the food is also the worst. We can't eat that food; it's worse than Chaitanya and Narayana campus food. Our ECE block infrastructure is also bad. It is an old building, so we can't say how many days it will last. So be careful before coming to our college.
Faculty: Our ECE faculty teaching skills are average. Our faculty can teach any subject. Because computer subjects are taught by core faculty, and core subjects are taught by computer faculty, who are very talented. But their experience is good, so please think before joining our college.

The life in GMRIT and its placements.
Placements: Around 200 people in our course. The fees are around 2 Lacs 25,000 to 2,60,000. The internship opportunities in our college were very good, and most of the people got campus placements. Many of our seniors did most of the jobs from MNCs and also other companies.
Infrastructure: The quality of the food is very good. Meal timings are from 6 to 9. The college provides good food and good maintenance in the hostel. There is a good mess and good facilities for sports and games, and the best dry canteen. Most of our college students participate in games at the university level.
Faculty: The subjects were easy, and people would get good marks. I am studying AC circuits in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Most of the people think it was very easy. I could say that the subjects and the curriculum are very relevant, and most of the people get good marks.
Other: I joined the college this year and will pass in the year 2028. Fests are too good, with a great crowd around the campus and in the surrounding areas. Scholarships and research opportunities will be given.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of students are placed, and the highest package is around 40 lacs, with the average package around 9 lacs. Almost every student will get an internship at the college, and the top roles offered are system engineer, data scientist, and machine learning engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautiful and awesome, filled with greenery, and the hostels are so clean with full Wi-Fi, while the labs are well optimized. The hostel mess food is good in a hygienic environment, and the most important thing is that sports activities are for everyone.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and are from M.Tech and PG backgrounds, and there are also experienced ones. The GMRIT curriculum is well structured and organized, and the semesters are after every 5 months, with the difficulty levels being average and above average.
