My views on my college.

Placements: My college provides many placements. Recently, my senior got placed in an MNC in Paris with a salary package of 45 LPA. This is the highest package. A few days my senior miss. Pramodini got a salary package of 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is nearly 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Nearly 95% of students get placed.

Infrastructure: My college is full of green trees and plants. There are two hostels one for boys and the other for girls. The college mess is very good. They maintain good food quality. The canteen is also there in my college. In my college, there is a sports arena, a football ground, and a gym. Classrooms are very good.

Faculty: Professors are very good. They do not hesitate to explain their doubts to students. The course curriculum is related to emerging trends and industry research requirements. End-semester exams are not very difficult. Many students passed in exams. I think nearly 80% of students passed.

Other: I chose artificial intelligence and data science at my college. I chose this course because nowadays it is the most popular and trending course. There is an event called Stepcone. It is the most awaited and enjoyable event. Some fests like ethnic wear, etc., are also conducted in my college.

Average college but good infrastructure and environment .

Placements: Top companies like Cognizant, L&T, TCS, and Infosys are hiring people in our college. It is good, and here faculty supports students by initiating programs like placement training and mock tests on a daily basis. And preplacement internships are also given for a few students.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good, and the food is average, but everything is clean. There will be a clean environment; the rooms are also good. The girls hostel is very secure for girls. Every rule is meant for girls security. Labs are too good, and LAN connection is provided in the hostel 24 hrs.

Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. Teaching quality for faculty can be rated as 3.5/5. But the campus overall supports the students in building their careers; college provides you with many programs, cell for student development, which include ISTE, ACM, dance club, music club, coders club, etc., to encourage people in all the ways. Pass percentage is 80%.

Choose this college if u have scholarship eligibility.

Placements: Placement percentage is about 70% on an average; due to recession, the percentage is dropped drastically. The highest package is 12 LPA, least is 2 LPA, and average is 5 LPA. Mostly TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture hire our pass outs. Internship is mandatory in the final semester, so the percentage is above 95%. Roles like Data Analyst, Artificial Engineer are offered to us.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure beautiful and have all kinds of facilities. Sports ground and library are available along with well-working labs. Hostel facilities are also good but are expensive. Canteen food is satisfactory along with the mess food also.

Faculty: The teachers at our department are highly knowledgeable and skilled. But they are not at all friendly and supportive; they are always rude and strict. Course curriculum is relevant but it does not teach us practical application. Semester exams are moderate difficult but can pass with hard work, so the pass percentage would be around 70%.

Other: Artificial Intelligence is ruling today's world, so I have chosen this path as my career. Events are a hit in our college; fests are held very often encouraging the campus and student connectivity.

A wonderful journey of a student.

Placements: To be frank, there is a really low percentage of placements. Currently, I am 2 years old, and as of now, our super seniors are struggling a lot to be placed in any companies. Actually, I don't know about the other departments placements. I know one thing: our college chairperson is a builder, so departments like civil, mechanical, and ECE. have high chances for placements (GMR may only offer jobs to these departments). Mainly only our computer-related departments are having very few placements and particularly our specialization branches came recently, so we are the second batch to that college in CSE (AI&DS) so we don't know how placements will be, but as per our knowledge, our faculty were trying a lot for companies to be visited.

Infrastructure: Basically, by seeing our college infrastructure, only I joined. Our college really has wonderful facilities. In every classroom, we have so much space to sit freely and we have projectors. Coming to the labs, we have the systems with high-level processors and all. Wi-Fi connections are available in labs, for faculty and even for hostels. In the library, we have so many books and even a digital library is also available. I am not a hosteller, so I don't know much about hostels, but my friends say hostel food, menu, and facilities are good enough .

Faculty: Faculty were very helpful to us; they are high-grade faculty. The knowledge they have is good; they not only teach at the engineering level; they help us build our future too. Yes, the curriculum was relevant; our syllabus matches the GATE exam syllabus too. Semester exams are easy when we study; the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: College looks very peaceful; we have lots of trees. Fests in our college were rare; they focused more on studies and physical activities. We will have an iconic fest, i.e., STEPCONE.

GMRIT is quite good for its Infrastructure and green campus.

Placements: I am from the CSE branch, specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning. My batch is the first batch in those specializations. Almost 75% of students got placed in the CS and IT branches. The average package is around 4 to 5 LPA. After the 4th and 6th semesters, it is mandatory to complete a summer internship.

Infrastructure: Campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled but you don't get a proper signal for your mobile. Since 1st year, I don't know what the reason is. But labs and classrooms are fully equipped with the latest technology. The college has NCC, NSS and even an indoor stadium for sports and a gym for both faculty and students.

Faculty: Yes, I will agree to this; the entire staff is student-friendly. Entire CS and IT branches curriculum are updated to recent emerging technologies. But it isn't enough to make students industry-ready. It is somewhat easy to clear all semester exams if you really focus 10 days before the end of the semester.

Other: Actually, GMRIT is one of the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh in terms of Eamcet level. In order to land on GMRIT, the general student rank must be below 10,000 for CSE. Yes, there are a lot of clubs for the showcase of student skills in various activities. If you get a rank below 5,000, then congratulations! You can get a free seat here. There are a lot of flagship events that occur on various occasions throughout the year.
