Proud of the recent performance by students and college management to improve the status.
Placements: The dipped graphs were at a peak during my time. A major chunk of students was interviewed by the IT-sector, and a decent number of students found their big corporate jobs. At least 70% of the placement looked a better figure than the previous years below 50% score. The internships are mandatory. Early exposure to 100% of the placement lot makes it easier to face the upcoming challenges.
Infrastructure: The best infrastructure is in Goa. The campus is shared since the past few years by NIT and IIT, but that looks like a temporary situation. The labs are well-equipped for world-class projects. I give 9 for the library and sports and 10 for the labs.
Faculty: A vigilant committee keeps the course updated to match the growing world's needs and demands. The presentations, videos and an experienced faculty only help the cause to improve the student life even more. The student to faculty ratio per passing batch should be around 6: 1.
Other: The cultural fests, tech fests are just another add-on for Jack to not just be involved with books but to go out there and develop some socio-techno- skills.
