A genuine talk about Glelwec College.
Placements: More than 70% of the students are placed with good salary packages in reputable companies. Top recruiting companies include Wells Fargo, Accenture, and others. Internships are available to every student based on their skills and management. Many students are placed as developers.
Infrastructure: The college is known for its infrastructure. There are more than enough classrooms with well-equipped furniture and Wi-Fi. There is an open library for all years with a variety of books by different authors. Labs are available for every subject and course.
Faculty: All faculty members have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of teaching. Faculty members are student-friendly and help impart knowledge. They are very supportive when it comes to innovation. The college is affiliated with Osmania University, so the semester examinations are evaluated strictly.

My honest review of GLWEC!
Placements: Ours is the first batch of this college, so placements have not yet started in our college. It has been promised that they'll bring placements from the main branch. We hope we'll get placement offers from well-known companies like Tata, Infosys and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor at this college. It basically looks like a hospital building. The classrooms are quite spacious and well ventilated. Labs has very good equipment. Wi-Fi is available in labs but not in classrooms. I was not in the hostel but as per my friends feedback, the food was average. Mobile phones are not acceptable in college.
Faculty: The faculty is quite good and supportive. The curriculum is designed by Osmania University. It covers the important topics as per their branch. The curriculum is very relevant and impressive. It is easy to comprehend the curriculum. The semester exams are quite easy if you follow the prescribed textbooks.
Other: The course was on the trend and I always wanted to be in the software field and pursue it to excel in my career.

Pack your bags and get ready for placements.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies include Wells Fargo, Accenture, and others. The highest salary package offered was around 33 LPA, the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Roles offered include developer, designer, technician, analyst, and programmer.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has a Wi-Fi router. There are both technical labs and workshop labs available. Classrooms are equipped with whiteboards and projectors, and faculty use both teaching aids effectively. Hostel provides clean rooms and healthy food for the students.
Faculty: All faculty members are well-trained and have a minimum of five years of experience. Every faculty member is a graduate, and some hold a master’s degree as well. College is affiliated with Osmania University, so semester exams are of moderate difficulty. This course prepares students to be industry-ready.

Placements: 40% of students from our course were placed in placements from our course. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest package was 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies visits our college to take interviews and to provide placements. 50% of students got internships from our course. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with good facilities, infrastructure, a good wifi connection, neat classrooms, a well-stocked library, etc. are there. There is also a hostel facility with good-quality food in the mess. There are also other facilities like canteens, medical facilities, sports and games, etc.
Faculty: Good faculty with a friendly nature, well educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. Good teaching quality in faculty is helpful for us. There are 2 semesters throughout one year. Good subject, faculty, no fests, no campus life.
Placements: As this is a new college, I couldn't give any information about placement. But coming to internships, there are few people who secured internships but not through college, rather through LinkedIn and their skills. Around 20-30% of seniors are doing internships and getting their certification, mostly these government internships like Bharat Intern, Intern Pe.
Infrastructure: Coming to facilities in this college, we have a good number of labs. For CSE people, we use systems for exams, and they even provide laptops. Coming to Wi-Fi, it's available in labs, seminar halls, and even a few classrooms. Coming to the library, it's small, only 2 rooms, but with sufficient books. One should grab the books as soon as possible. Hostel is only for girls and is the same for the other campus. Hostel facilities are fine, and the food is also fine. Basic medical facilities are available, and the hostel has a gym for physical exercise. The hostel doesn't have a ground; it's like an apartment.
Faculty: Coming to academics, the subjects here are a little bit more difficult than in other autonomous colleges. But coming to faculty, we have good, qualified teachers, but self-preparation is also needed for a few subjects. Semester exams are a bit difficult; pass percentage depends on the sections. In the CSE branch, the pass percentage is around 70%. For the first two years, CSE students will have different subjects that are not related to the course, and only a few core subjects are there in further years, based on our course.
Other: Coming to events and all, we will have enough events. We can celebrate events within ourselves. Students get many chances to organize events and all stuff. Extracurricular activities depend on students; if they are interested, they have to do it themselves. The campus doesn't give extra time for it. Coming to campus surroundings, there's a co-ed campus beside, and both campuses have the same buses. There's a central canteen used by everyone. Scholarships are also provided. The college has many rules and restrictions like no jeans, no sleeveless tops allowed, only kurtas, and no mobile phones outside. ID cards are compulsory, and a few more.
