Placements: The number of students is decreasing every year. No placements are fixed by the college. This college has famous alumni like Jamini Roy, Ganesh Paye, and Yogen Chowdhury. It is a government college, so you can get the Swami Vivekananda scholarship here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is subpar. The classrooms are excessively small, the restrooms are unclean, and the air conditioning and projectors are always breaking down. Wi-Fi is limited to PCs only. The reading material is excellent, and the library is good. However, the labs are subpar. The canteen is good, but the general infrastructure of the campus is not very excellent.

Faculty: The faculty are very helpful but teach in the Indian style. There is currently no faculty available, so be aware of that. The classrooms are good. The GCC Library is one of the best libraries in India, but unfortunately, you cannot enter due to poor management. This college used to have a hostel, but now it no longer does.
