Placements: Placements in the college were not that good last year. But this year, quite a lot companies have visited for placements, especially for the IT department. For the mechanical branch, there are very few core companies for placements. Rest of the branches have mass recruiters as their option. Last year, FIAT visited and provided placements to 2 seniors. Many other companies such as Triveni Turbines and others also provide placements.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good, but placements for core branches are the worst. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, and the average package offered ranged from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The placement percentage was 60% last year, and the placement process is going on for the current batch, but till now, none of the core companies visited our college to recruit the students of the core branches.
Placements: When I joined the college in 2014, the placements were good. But since then, the rate of placements has dropped drastically. College doesn't organise any placement orientated drives. There is a placement cell available in the college, but it is not even 10% useful for students.
Placements: As for the current year, the placement process is still going on. Until now, about 60-70% of students got placed from the CS and IT departments. The very first company that visited our campus was TCS Digital which hired 4 students. Those 4 students included two students from the CS department, one student from the IT department and another student from ELPO. They offered a salary package of 7.50 LPA. After that, consecutively two mass recruiters, TCS Ninja and Cognizant also visited our campus a...
Placements: The college has average placements. Placements are weak for the mechanical department. Last year, only 20 students were placed, out of which, 10 students were placed in non-core companies. The core companies that visit our college for recruitment are Fiat, Range Holding, etc. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA by Fiat.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. This year, TCS has visited our campus for mass recruitment and hired about 90 students. They offered a salary package of nearly 3.40 LPA. Cognizant also visited our campus and recruited 12 students and offered a salary package of 4 LPA. Most of the placements are provided for the non-core branches. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA.
Placements: Placements in the college are not very good. Placements for the core branches are only countable on fingers. Most of the IT companies visit for placements. The highest salary package offered was 7.43 LPA by TCS Digital. The highest salary package offered for non-core branches was 5 LPA by FIAT. But, the placements are not very satisfactory.
Placements: Placements in our college were pretty decent. Mostly from the IT sector and also from the core field for the students of mechanical, electrical, and civil visit our college to hire students. The average package offered was around 3.5 LPA. The different roles included mostly the programmer analyst trainee and the junior engineer in the core companies.
Placements: There is nothing significant for core branches. Common CS and IT companies were the mass recruiters, which hired around 100 students from seven branches. Around 100 students out of 4,200 got placed in the college placements. Even 50% of the total students didn't appear for the placements, so 100 students got placed out of 2,100. Not more than five students got selected with packages greater than 5 LPA, that too in IT companies. However, the TPO in our college is proactive.
Placements: The placements in our college were good during my tenure. Nearly 70% to 80% of the students got placed in the college placements. Most of them got placed in software companies and are working as a developer and tester. Placements of our previous batches were better than our batch. Companies that visited our college offered the salary package of around 3 LPA to the placed students.
Placements: I don't know much about it so I won't unnecessarily say anything, But most of the students get placed in IT companies, only very few of them are placed in core companies. It is utter nonsense if you think of getting placed in IT companies after spending 5 years learning so much about automobiles.
Placements: Placements for CS and IT branches are very good, but the placements for civil and mechanical students are not much satisfactory. Very few core companies visit the campus compared to IT companies. TCS has ranked the institute as a premium institute. The institute lags in providing internship opportunities.
Placements: The college has a placement cell which is very efficient and useful. The average package offered was about 3 LPA, and the highest package offered for my batch was 6.5 LPA. More than 40 companies visited the college to offer placements to students. TCS and Cognizant are the mass recruiters for the batch of 2018-19.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good for core branches. Most of the companies that come for placements are IT related. The average package offered by most of the companies is nearly 3.30 lacs per annum. The companies that visit our college for recruitment are TCS, Cognizant, Fiat (for mechanical engineering), Persistent, and Wipro. There is a good scope for CS and IT branches.
Placements: Placement related facility is provided by college professors for every student. One can't say that the placements are not good. Placements for our batch are very good. But they have worked hard to provide placement opportunities for the students of our senior batch. The placement opportunities for the students of the electronics and communication branch are increasing now. We are satisfied with the placements in our batch. Around 50% of students were placed in our branch.
Placements: Don't get your hopes high, while joining the college. As the placement for core branches (Mechanical, civil & Electrical) has decreased drastically in last 3 years. The average package of core branches for selected students was near 3 LPA, with maximum being 4.8 LPA for mechanical (1 Male & 1 Female) offered by Ford motors. Condition is similar for software branches as well only difference being high no. Of students placed in companies with average salary of 3.2 LPA.
Placements: We usually have on campus placements with Cognizant, Wipro, John Deere, Nvidia and other companies. Around 70-75% of students get placed every year with a handsome package. The highest package was around 7 Lacs PA and the lowest being 3.35 Lacs PA. Some got to placed in 2 organizations as Cognizant and Wipro used to declare the results on the same day.
Placements: The placement was excellent, about 70% students gets placed on campus. Average salary offered was in between 3.35 Lacs to 4 Lacs per annum. The highest salary was offer by Nvidia. Maximum placement was done by cognizant company. Most placement done by IT companies.
Placements: The placements were good in 2014. Most of the students got selected by two or more companies. On the other side, some of the students didn't get selected by any company. The placement percentage was 100%. The training and placement cell was very useful.
Placements: Every year, at least 4-5 companies visit the college for recruitment. About 80% of the interested candidates got placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., visit the college for placements, but the sad part is that they hardly offer 4 LPA. So, lots of students are not interested in the recruitment process.
