It’s a good college. It has good hostel life and good placement opportunities. The faculty is not that good, but fees are low. College location is good .Amaravati is the nice place with all facilities. Other activities like cultural, sports and Techfest are good. Library is awesome.

I studied in Electronic and telecommunication. We were having best resource and exposure to our study and other curriculum activities too. Unfortunately we were having average facilities, focusing on theory part. Very inspiring and motivating college culture. In short students run the college with the help of faculty.

Still d Best ranked college for engineering in Vidarbha region but needs lot of improvement in all aspects like faculty, infrastructure etc. When compared to other colleges in the state. And From the point of view of fees, I would definitely say it’s better as compared to other private colleges.

Best college in Amravati region, and also a very good and well known government institute of engineering in Maharashtra. It is an autonomous institute of engineering, and had a wide campus. This is one of the best government autonomous college of engineering and technology in Maharashtra.

The educational system here is very good. The placement for the institute is very well managed and stands at a good level. Recently, the authorities have made a few modifications in the college campus area. The only drawback that I can point out is the faculty. There are many good faculty members too, but being a government institute they don't find time to conduct the lectures and most of the teaching load for B.Tech is given to M.Tech students. Overall, I will rate the institute at least 4 ...

The life at GCCOEA which students can remember in their lifelong.

Placements: In my class, there are 70 students, and it is of one branch; then there are 8 branches, so you can calculate. The average package is 4 lac. And the highest is 12 lac. There are so many companies visit the college like TCS, Accenture, Wipro are service-based companies but provide a decent package.

Our college is the complete college diary.

Placements: In our college, placements were not good. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Most students wanted to do an M.Tech after completing the B.Tech from our college.

Good infrastructure for EXTC department and good placements for CS / IT / EXTC department.

Placements: The college has a good placement percentage as in EXTC, on average, 45-50 students are placed every year out of a total of 75 students. But the average package an individual is getting is very low. Only a few core companies visit the campus. Most companies that visit are IT firms.

I'm satisfied with our college. It has average placements, and some students opt for higher studies.

Placements: Around 60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Hela, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro and Sony. Around 70% of the students were offered internships in various companies. Internships are offered mostly in non-core companies such as TCS, etc., and some students opt to do internships at Bhaba Atomic Research.

The best college in Amravati .

Placements: All the students above 90 % are taken very easily without any fees and if you got less than 80% they are taken very hardly. The facility is very good and teachers are also teaching very well and you did not have to join a tuction classes because it is waste of money.

It is a better college than other private colleges.

Placements: The placements in our college are quite good compared to other colleges, and it also provides open placements for other colleges. This year, the average package offered was around 3-4 Lacs per annum. On comparison, we have better placements than the private colleges.

It is better than a private college in terms of placements.

Placements: The college has a training and placement cell. CS/IT students get the most opportunities for placements. Companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Pratiti Technologies, NEML, etc., visit the campus for placements. Students have to find internships on their own. Companies offer a decent salary package.

It is a well-known autonomous government engineering college in the Vidarbha region.

Placements: Placements for the IT sector are good than the core sector. Many MNC visits our college, but the placements are not that satisfying. Placements for the mechanical branch are less as compared to CS branch. But good companies like Fiat, TAL, Nag, etc., visit our college for placements.

Review about Government College of Engineering, Amravati.

Placements: Placement history of the college was quite good though recently some changes happened. Mass recruiter companies visit regularly, but core companies visited were much less in number now. There was the hope of an increase in number in core companies. TCS, Cognizant, Fiat, L&T, NEML companies regularly visit the college placements. The highest package offered was 7 LPA and the lowest package offered is up to 3 LPA.

My experience was good in a college. Placements were also good for our batch.

Placements: Overall placements were good in the college, but the number of core companies visit was less. Our class strength was 72, in which almost 50 students got selected in companies like Hella Electronics Pvt Ltd, which was the only core company for electronics, Cognizant and Wipro. Four students got selected in Hella company. The average package offered was 3.5 LPA. I didn't sew any internship except TCS company. The college has a placement cell, and it works quite actively. Placements: Placements here are absolutely good. More than 60% of the students are placed from each batch. The average salary package offered is also good, i.e., around 3.5 LPA. More than 25 companies visit here every year to hire students from our college. Core companies are a bonus for all departments in the college.
