Overall, it is an average college.

Placements: I have passed 2nd year currently, and the placements of my senior batch were quite good. About 80-90% of the students from our branch got placed. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was about 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Persistent, Fiat, Hela, Reliance, L&T, etc., visited our campus for placements. The roles generally offered to the students of our branch were related to testing.

Good placements, average infrastructure, poor place.

Placements: In my branch 75+% of final year students were placed. NVIDIA offered 6.5 LPA and two of my seniors were placed in that company. Although cognizant offered a package of 14 LPA but no one got placed. Internships are on basis of student's will, we can apply it through many online internship platforms.

Don't go for this college in 1st round, take if you get it in final round of cap.

Placements: If the student is from IT and CS then he can expect placements in this college as only IT companies are recruiting in good figure. Whereas for core branches the placement is very bad as only 1 or 2 companies are visiting for them. This year the electrical placement was very low and no single core company visited the campus. While single company visited for civil. And 2-3 companies for mechanical engineering. Lastly the college is not going well with the placements, I would say.

If you want good placements and knowledge with entertainment you should join.

Placements: Here placements are good for basically CS and IT branches other branches also have good placement as compare to any reputed private college here. Best thing about college big companies like Tata consultant service, cognizant, etc. Come here every year to recruit students.

An excellent college for engineering.

Placements: More than 10 companies come for placements. Our college is the best government engineering college, and we have instant placement opportunities. They give us the chance to do better, and many good companies come here for placements. They choose the best students from the college, and there are many opportunities for students.

Choosing this college is just waste of money and time.

Placements: The worst placement cell belongs to this college. The training and placement department of gcoea is totally inactive. Last year only computer and IT students had placed. For core branches placement is nearly zero percent. From my class only four candidates are placed. For software companies T and P cell don't allow core branches students.

To join this college or not to join is the question.

Placements: The placements in our college are good enough. The highest salary package offered was of 7 LPA to a mechanical student. In IT, TCL was a mass recruiter and recruited 50 students at an average salary package of 3 LPA. FIAT offered the highest salary package.

To come or not to come that is the question.

Placements: The placements in our college were fair enough. The highest placement of given to the civil student of 7.5 Lacs per annum approximately. Placement of my branch were 3.5 Lacs per annum averagely. Since they were mass recruiter. The highest package was given by wipro company.

Good teaching staff, better infrastructure, Less placement.

Placements: Regarding Civil Engineering. I would say that placement was really less through campus.20% say. L&T, Reliance Infra, Oman and UltraTech were among the few companies who visited and 15 students were selected out of 75 students Salary offered was in between 3.25 Lacs and 4.50 Lacs.

Placements: Here the companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc. Comes every year to get fresher for internship n jobs almost 80% students form IT, CS get placed through campus n Other branches upto 50% Out of campus their is more chances for getting placed because our institute is autonomous and government.

Faculties are much satisfying, placements are not so good, and infrastructure could be better.

Placements: The placement rate at this College is really low. The number of companies coming to the college of engineering are really low- 2-3 companies for electrical branch & 5-6 for CS and IT departments. Campus selection for electrical branch is really low. And it is 5-7 students for electrical branch. The starting payments is from 3 to 6.5 Lacs maximum for electrical students. In short, college does not give you surety to be placed.

Absolutely satisfied that I got admission here which is not easy to get.

Placements: Placement that had gone down has now taken pace in placing students in various companies that offer a good salary of above 4.5 Lacs per annum. The students got placed in TCS, HELA, RELIANCE, COGNIZANT, NEML and many more. The overall percentage of placement is about 60 to 70%. In Information Technology the percentage of placements went over 85%. Core branches also did well in the placements.

Old but not good as it used to be. Level of teaching, placements decreasing exponentially every year

Placements: About 60-70% get placed of CSE discipline on median package around 3.5lpa. Most of the companies visiting campus are service based like TCS, Cognizant etc. The lowest package is 2.9lpa and the highest is 6.5lpa during placement season during academic year 2017-18. Mostly roles offered for CSE discipline candidates are assistant engineer, software engineer, associate engineer etc.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and environment.

Placements: About 20% placements are offered in civil branch. The highest package offered from the last six years is 6.5 LPA, and the average package is of 3.5 LPA. For civil, companies like TCS, Hassan Al Jumma, Reliance, ACC Cement visit the campus for placements. There is a good placement cell for placement and training activities.

Shift this college to a large city, and then it will be the best college.

Placements: This year, around 7-8 companies visited for the campus recruitment. The campus placements are moderate with companies giving packages in the range of 3-5 LPA. The campus placement has improved this year compared to the academic year 2016-17. The companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, NEML, Cerium Systems, etc., visited the college for the campus recruitment. The students who have been recruited are generally for the post of an assistant trainee in the company.

The best engineering college in vidarbha.

Placements: 90% placement in almost all branches. This year students from civil branch have been offered by 7.5 Lacs per annum package. Two boys from CSE department have been placed with base package of 12 Lacs. EXTC department students got 100% placement. MECHANICAL engineering is such a fun in this college.

East or West Our GCOEA is the best!

Placements: Placements are good in our college. Branches like Mechanical engineering, civil engineering get placement offers from Oman, HPCL India, Shapunji Palaunji. Many IT MNC companies like Cognizant wipro, persistent, Amdocs, Nvidia come for campus recruitment. Among the companies mentioned above, Cognizant and Wipro are the mass recruiter's. I am a Computer Science and Engineering student, I was placed in Cognizant and Wipro. The overall percentage across all the branches for B.Tech is almost 80 perce...
